    He speaks the language of chemistry, doesn't make any mistakes, doesn't delay calculations, doesn't promote his channel, doesn't have bad quality issues whatsoever and best of all, he explains it the clearest in the shortest time!

      replace oh with h...count how many replaced..and multiply the no. with given mass of compound...done. And for equaivalent mass , divide molar mass with the the no of replacebale oh with h, the same way u did with normality

      @@sherlockholmes6803 normality is molarity multiplied with n factor. So molarity will be normality divided by nf. Normality is given 3.0 and nf of aluminium sulfate is 6 (charge on cations ot anions is the nf for ionic compounds.) Divididing normality 3 by nf 6 gives 0.5 which will be the molarity

    I paused at the moment wherein he added the #of equiv weight and mine is kinda different (a little but I hope this might help for some)
    N= #equiv of solute / V of soln in L
    But:
    #equiv of solute =
    mass solute / equiv weight
    But:
    equiv weight = molecular weight / f
    Wherein "f" are the H and OH

    50g of H2SO4 divided by 98g/mole is equal to 0.50mole divided by 15L of solution is equal to 0.33M. Normality = 0.33x2H=0.66N. Correct me if Im wrong.

    • @TheOrganicChemistryTutor

      I got 0.068N again. 50 / 98 = 0.5102. 0.5102 / 15 = 0.034. 0.034 x 2 = 0.068. Try dividing 0.5102 by 15 again. I believe you're missing a 0. I hope this helps :)
