Im from the future of 11-8-2024. Watching the old videos. Really enjoy their videos. They give me good ideas on what to fix for dinner. Plus they buy the same grocerys as we do, with exception of vegetable, they use can and frozen, we prefer fresh. But they cook on a budget, so you get ideals and pantry hauls to show what to keep on hand is great.

That looks very good! I have a similar recipe in my "Pantry Recipe File" that uses 2 cans of condensed cream soup, plus 1/2 cup reconstitued dry milk (I keep dry whole milk in my pantry supplies, and use it often!). Instead of broccoli, it uses 2 cans of mixed vegetables, drained, and the shelf stable Parmesan mixed with bread crumbs for topping. My hubby likes that casserole, so next time I will make a half recipe of that one and I will try a half recipe of this one for myself, because he hates broccoli, but I love it!

That looks so quick, easy, and appetizing. I will definitely be making this. Minus the broccoli. I'm the only in the house that will eat it. I'll probably sub some green beans. I'll also use crushed corn flakes or bread crumbs with the parmesan cheese and a little butter for the top. The added mushrooms is also a definite pleaser. I just realized that I have everything to make this now so I'm thinking I have dinner for tomorrow and I know it will be delicious. There's nothing in there that wouldn't be. It's a good recipe except l don't like overcooked broccoli so I added the uncooked broccoli to the casserole dish. It's perfect. I also used real chicken without all the preservatives and other additives.
