I LOVE the original, but this is still great.
The orginal is tuned down half a step from a standard guitartuning.
This way when you play a G Major it will actually be a F# Major.

Well...
The tuning on the orginal is half a step down from standard E-tuning, to Eb.
So the CHORDSHAPES are as I said. But a G would be a F#, if you tune your guitar down to Eb. 😉
This is a nice trick to use more of the open strings on the guitar, that often sounds better than using barréchords all over the place..
A capo is a nice way to use those open strings chordshapes as well.
