Please note that 12 cm squared = 144 square cm (cm2) and 144 cm cubed = 2,985,984 cube cm (cm3). Vocabulary is important if you want to be exact and precise.

Area of triangle is ½(base)(heigh). In this case, 4 is a base and 6 is a heigh, because 6 cm is perpendicular with 4, while 7 didn't. Always remember that heigh is always perpendicular with base.

The 7 is useless for finding volume, since we need height, and the 7 isn't the height since it's diagonal, height is how tall the top from the bottom is, you can also use the bottom of very top edge to calculate height, it would be the same thing
V = (hw/2)h

Then, 21 x 12 = 252cm³
