25 years ago I bought my first Sparks album "Gratuitous sax and senseless violins". After that I never heard of them again until the end of December 19. And now I feel like I overslept the last 25 years. But I'll go to their concert in Berlin and Amsterdam this year.
@@girlfromgermany As you probably know by now, I closed them out of my life 1976, and didn't take the step to actually check what happened to them since until 2017. 41 years...😱🫣 At first I couldn't forgive myself, t b h. But "I've learned to live with my sins"😂, and as you know, what a wonderful journey, to discover everything they had done during all those years!💖
It's from 1986, on the album Music That You Can Dance To. www.discogs.com/Sparks-Music-That-You-Can-Dance-To/master/87066 A reworked version came out in 1997 on Plagiarism. www.discogs.com/Sparks-Plagiarism/master/87082
It was a single in 1985 and only appears on certain versions of the music that you can dance to album. The u.s. release I think. Other versions of the album have the song 'armies of the night' instead of change on them.
Pure talent! I’ve loved sparks since the mid 70’s. This shows what live music and performance really is. Superb!
Brilliant vid - I loved this gig.
you where there, that must have been amazing
The Best
I was at the Leeds gig the night before this. My first Sparks concert but not my last. Kudos to R & R.

The live-version with only piano and voice, where is it?
Only Ron and Russell.
