  • Join Dan Barringer, Invasives Management Coordinator for Natural Lands, as he discusses six invasive vines to look for and report to iMapInvasives if found in Pennsylvania's natural areas. They include:
    Pale and black swallowworts
    Asiatic bittersweet
    Hardy kiwi vine
    Kudzu
    Five-leaf akebia
    Dan draws upon his 30 years of experience as a land manager as he also discusses management tips for each of these problematic invaders.

    Great talk. Porcelainberry can get so thick you can swing like Tarzan with it. It's believed to be a major annoyance in the Wissahickon watershed of Philly.
