@romaricogalvez1024 these kinds of rewards is not transferable, I'm afraid, because the establishment would be needing an identification. It was not stated that it would be for his "family and friends", that would be a big and stupid decision on a business stand point. Also businesses does "GIVE" for free, what they would be getting for yulo is exposure/advertisement.

@@memalang94He probably doesn't eat that. Athletes have a strict diet espcially for someone like him that always compete.
But I don't mind at all if other people or businesses would just ride on this hype for their marketing. It's also their way of celebrating, you know an Olympic Gold doesn't come very often. Let's just be happy for everyone's success. After a month or two, this olympic hype will fade.

    I BET FOR THIS ONE:
I am sure other countries gathered a lot of medals (10 gold medals above) doesnt receive this kind of blessing same with carlos yulo.
We will see the advantage of a nation where bagging an olympic gold medal is very rare.
Another benefits of an olympic gold medalist athlete in philippines:
You have a lifetime free supply of gasoline. ❤

Let's just hope that they stay true to their word and not some publicity/marketing stunt. A Silver medalist from 1996 olympics got his incentives last 2021 and some of the pledges promised were not given at all.
