Great video John, as usual I learned something new. I had no idea these stoves were more efficent with snow and ice. The ability to know your fuel consumtion is also key.. Thanks again🤙

Great info thank you! This video reminds me of the episode of The Cleared Hot podcast when you and Andy were swapping stories about the training he got with you and his misadventures with stoves. That episode introduced me to you and the work you do. So glad I listened to that episode 🤙🏻

Great Video. Having the right tool for the right job, through options in the kit bag, is important. I've had a Whisperlite International since 1994. Used in in n Europe, Asia, S and N America. White gas and auto gasoline. Very versatile stove to keep in my kitbag.

Agreed! Any type of gear that is functional and also versatile is a good piece of gear to have in your bag.

Wow... They seem like a real hassle compared to my jetboil lol
But, now I can see there is a time and place for them. Thanks for the info

Exactly, "time and a place" is a great term because a jet boil is great until its not.
