I love the half half approach to debt and emergency savings. That feels like a realistic and forward planning strategy to take. Hitting both elements to make progress. It is something I am going to go away and ponder integrating it into my budget.

That's the great thing about budgeting you can always adjust it. I loved the Wisconsin Dells, my favorite was the dog jumping (Leap Of Faith). Now I need to find my pictures from all the times I went there. We're supposed to get a tax return. If we do get it we'll be getting a new mattress set. Our current mattress set is 15 years old. We would love to have that in our sinking funds instead. Our sleep and health is being effected by the age of our current bed, so we gotta adult.

i am the same way. I do not like to spend money on myself. My hubby has to make me spend money for myself. I always think that the money could be used for my daughters or him. I think its all part of being a mom. You always worry about do you have enough for your children needs.

The only bill I had go to collections was also a medical bill. They had the wrong apartment number 🙄 the hospital had my phone number the entire time but of course they never called. Man was I annoyed lol
