I like to listen to Irv Gotti interviews. He speaks intelligently, and articulately. He explains his experience to the point you imagine you were there and most of all you don’t get the vibe that he’s lying. So authentic. Great interview
Learned a lot about irv. Always respected him from afar. Seems like he's real solid and holds family High. Good episode, two respected moors ,we see yall
😂😂😂😂...when Gotti took off the jacket...I was like oh shit! All this music talk, the business and regrets, Jay, Ja and X talk. BMF! Dealing with the FED’s but yo getting divorce is hell! I’m dying bruh!!! Lmao.
You need to have Fat Joe on here Every time I see Fat Joe or Irv Gotti in a interview you simply just click You know you always learn several things when these men speak
Nas set that whole shit up.. He knew Gotti and Hovs relationship. He knew gotti did super ugly when hov says "i got more shooters in queens than you" he says Gottis name in the backround than Nas basically took over murda inc for 1 song and never signed the deal.. Nas aint slow hes well thought out
Whats crazy is Irv is so entertaining...I've heard these stories on all his recent interviews like drink champs...but I can listen to it again and again cause this dude is so engaging
His ex- wife said X had 40 million dollars at one point, and alot was stolen by a Def Jam accountant named Horace, or some shit. Sje said this on that bullshit Breakfast Club.
Even in the mid-80s all of that dope money was new money to us in the 90s all of that legit rap money was new money to us. Those Jewish executive had an agenda from the beginning IT WASN'T ABOUT MONEY FOR THEM, it was about continuing power with them.
What the hell are you typing? NONE of those labels were "bosses". The BOSSES in Hip-Hop are from the south. Master P, Cash Money, Rap-a-Lot, Luke etc were the real bosses. The NY dudes were glorified a&r men, who were FIRMLY under Lyor, and Clive Davis. Suge talked all that "ownership" bullshit, but he had a 50-50 deal with Interscope, with Interscope funding Death Rows overhead. Also Def Jam HAS ALWAYS BEEN A JEWISH RECORD LABEL! NEW YORK HIP- HOP SOLD OUT FROM DAY ONE.
BluFoo Take your medication. No known NY artist from that era were independent. They were all BENEATH the majors, including Irv, of course. Nigga told Flex Def Jam jerked him on the overseas album points, but now he's lying like he was a "boss". I hope you're young because it's pathetic to worship these fake bosses because you likr fantasy. "get off TH-cam"😔 You're a female. A little girl.
@@jayblack3c3 I've done the same thing. I think a lot them see podcast and blogs as opportunities to get more camera time instead of adding another skill to their repertoire
Being that I'm 41 and they did not put content like this in Vibe magazine and Source magazine I can listen to people like this all day giving me the the backstage pass edition of what really went on back then.
Im a g -unit fan 50 one of my fav rappers but irv gotti is that dude & u can learn a lot from him nothing but Gems u can't hate on this dude he has done a lot for Rap/ hip hop & pushing the culture further
Nick... It's all fun and games until you are old AF and your kids don't really want to be around much and you have no one you have built a strong connection to be by your side... even in being old
Hey Nick Cannon. I'm watching PBS right now. It has a show on food as medicine. And it says that following the diet can reverse lupus. Don't know how accurate it is but it's worth a shot. Maybe it'll lessen some of the symptoms. Anyway, I thought of you when I saw this so I'm passing it on to you. Hope it works
Big respect to Gotti. He produced on one of my favourite albums of all time - Reasonable Doubt. My nigga DJ'd and produced for Hov, discovered Ja Rule and DMX. Not to mentioned Ashanti. If you are in your mid thirties, you will recall the bangers he was responsible for from the late 90's and early 2000's. Unfortunately 50 cent and that Preme trial derailed him. But irrespective, he deserves a lot of recognition, especially in light of the absolute garbage hip hop that is out nowadays (Kendrick aside)
Talking about him putting that out in the universe man I instantly thought of pop smoke. That guy would have been the one. He had that early 00’s vibe man.
Whoa Irv Gotti bugging with wanting that self destructive music to come back again. The last thing the black community is a artist that promotes gutta self destructive music. We still recovering from the effects of gangsta music/trap music.
Irv is the best story teller in hip hop. Dude just makes everything sound so clear and vivid dudes mind is so sharp.

Idk bro... DMX got PAID off his music. Then he parlayed it into a bunch of movie roles. I think he just spent it and didn't think of the future.
X has ten baby mamas hes getting robbed of cours. Funny back then he used to rob niggas
