Oh Tammy you do look pretty hair up suits you and that top really flatters your figure and of course your smile! Yarn looks wonderful hope the trunk show goes great and you sell lots of yarn. Birds of a feather shawl looks really sophisticated and lays well and drapey, nice to see you
Oh you are making such beautiful yarns. You girls are killing me. This is my poorest time of the year and I want to buy everything but no extra money to do so. I watched your mom the other day and she had the little lady that does the purses, and I want one of them. I'm trying to wait and tell my boys for Mother's Day I want on my wish list. lol So I'm trying so very hard to get in on all these patterns and good yarns! Keep making them girls, you are doing a great job.
Dorene - I would be honored to gift you a skein of yarn to say "Thank You" for taking such great care of my Grandma. You are one extremely generous and selfless woman! Please let me bless you and thank you! My email - Achickthatknitz@yahoo.com. Send me your address please. Also let me know your favorite color-way from the shop. Please. - Tammy
Dorene , same here. I want to buy everything I see. I have a box full of yarn , three pairs unfinished socks, two more shawls with cheap “ shawl in a cake” yarn from JoAnn. A few days ago I bought faux leather and some home decor fabric to make a bag I saw in some tutorial, lol. I made my son buy me chagoo needles after a few months back he bought “ knitter’s pride” . We need to focus ...we need a cleansing , hahaha.
@@achickthatknitz Tammy, we discussed before. I was a caretaker but I live in West Virginia. I am a different Dorene. I didn't have the honor of taking care of your Grandmother. You are a very sweet and caring person. I have been active on both you and your mothers vlogs and blogs. I will be able to purchase some yarn in time. I just didn't want you to think I was one of those people who say they are going to do somehting and then don't. I love each knew batch you come up with. Like CatKanDu said, I need to focus or get a cleansing. lol
Dorene, forgive me. Every time I see the name "Dorene" I think of a wonderful generous lady. It warms my heart every time I see your name. I am a very wealthy woman as far as a yarn supply goes. It pains me that I have such a surplus and it's a difficult time of year for you. I would still like to send you a little something for Mother's Day if you would be so kind to let me. You have my email.
I dye DMC floss and love the different shades I can come up with. Loving the colors you’re doing. Congrats on selling. Like you I’m a homebody. I’m always coming up with craft projects.
Hi Tammy! I live in the Hudson Valley just north of Rhinebeck and love that town. You can call it "Rhinebeck Rose" (just a thought.) It's a beautiful colorway, even if it was by accident! You are doing so well, I can't wait for the trunk show. Cheers, Joan
Hi Tammy, visiting you from your Mum's channel, love your Birds of a feather shawl, can you tell me where the pattern is from, thanks and I'm loving your Vlog x
Hi Tammy! So glad to see you today! I love those new colors and that red is gorgeous. You shawl ...the birds one , is very nice . I saw that is popular these days. You knit so fast. I am struggling with my shawl , my second in my entire life and the second time I chose the wrong needle size although I got the gauge right...still it comes out kind of small. Your yarn is so soft, is just a pleasure to work with it. I hope you sale everything you make to keep you motivated. It is so hard as I can see to keep track of all the colors and ...WHAT?? They depend on temperature?oh no... you need Alexa to remind you : “Tammy , time to add speckles , temperature Tx 1/3 (x-c) where x granulation and c coefficient ...” joke...I love that lake you have and , yes, is kind of big...and deep. I used to tide bicycle around it even on snow. And I even remember the restaurants. Why haven’t I met you in 2009? I was so bored in our empty apartment...Knitting would have been great. Have a fruitful week, Tammy and y’all watching her!
Don't give up on the shawl. It looks crumpled and little before you block it. Once you are done, you will soak it in cool water and then lay out to dry. When you lay it out to dry, you will stretch it and expand it a bit. Once dry, it will be beautiful. It will blossom and all come together, especially those cables. I promise! I showed a lady, (Kara) at the yarn store, your progress on your shawl. She bought "Nebula" also. She had me text her your picture she liked it so well. I think she is going to try and find the same pattern.
A Chick That Knitz oh , Tammy, I am so glad you ladies like it! Thank you for the encouragement! I already changed the needles from 4 to 5 and you can barely notice although it changes the size a little. The pattern asks for 6 I believe and it is planned with sport weight. The construction is easy and I think I will use it again in the future with different stitch pattern.
Hi Tammy - My “willow” yarn came in the mail. I love it. It’s beautiful and so soft. I’ve never had yarn like this before. I’m so excited. Thank you so very much for making my skeins into cakes so I can use them. You are truly one of a kind. Your card was beautiful and such a sweet touch to my order. This yarn is SO nice. Lauren crochets - will you ask her (so I don’t screw up my pretty yarn) if 2 cakes is enough to crochet a beanie/toboggan style hat and matching scarf? I want to learn to knit too. I can practice knitting on my yarn from Hobby Lobby. I have some that is about the same weight as my gorgeous willow. I have no idea how much you need to knit a hat and scarf or even a small wrap for my shoulders. If I knit - is 2 cakes enough for a pretty hat and scarf? It will take me that long to learn how and make it in time for fall. Love the new color way you made last nite. The teal and purple with a touch of yellow and pink is so pretty. Oh my goodness girl, you are creating gorgeous yarns. You are really good at this. I hope you sell bunches at your trunk show. You deserve every sale. I think you did great on your grand opening sale. I would have been happy selling that much. Sorry for rambling on and on... I’m just so excited with my first good yarn and want to make something pretty. Thank you for everything! You are the best. Big Hugs 🤗🧶😍 Thank Lauren too for helping me figure out if I have enough to crochet and if that’s what I should do with my first good yarn!🤗🧶
Pam, I'm glad you like it. I'm smiling from ear to ear. There is a website called "Ravelry" www.ravelry.com/account/login. Sign in. Once inside, there are all the patterns for knitters and crocheters. You can specify in your search that you have a total of 900 yards of Fingering weight yarn and choose "crochet" and it will bring up all the patterns you can make with that amount of yarn. You can also look for a beanie and a scarf and add up the yardage to make sure you have enough. This is THE place to go. You can find friends on Ravelry also. I am "CarDactRN" on Ravelry. Enjoy! You will love it. - Tammy
Love the red!
Love your blouse! The yarn is beautiful too!

Thank you Janice! You're so kind! I hope the trunk show goes well too!
It reminds me of chocolate covered cherries. Beautiful.
I hope you have a great trunk show!
You look very pretty. Like your tips.
Thanks Eva!
