I like that they went with a conventional design as opposed to brands that go out of their way to make their BEV's look totally different from their ICE models.

This is the first small electric car I’ve actually liked! It is creeping to its roots, knows what it is, plus it give you all the features you want. Also I’ve read everywhere that they are brining out a 4 wheel drive version, why not? The new Yaris Cross is available as a 4X4. But I am interested in this car for sure.
The only thing's missing is VTL or conventional output power socket, imho. But it's all to be expected as Europe is clearly saving this feature for the future (Chinese family cars have it for some time now, to be fair).
I have to agree with Jeep. One look at those taillights and I can instantly tell it's a Jeep. The lights remind me of the Jeep Renegade
Can’t wait to see what Alfa Romeo will present on base of that car…
The grey one that was highlighted is the 4x4 version whereas the yellow one is FWD only.

Interior uses a lot of bits from the 500e... And thus is better than the VAG interiors
Actually the rear lights give me Dacia vibes, but besides that it's an interesting small EV!
And the front not? The headlights are the same as the Duster's

I love this and have a Grand Cherokee and a Kona Electric. I'd love to get this when the Kona goes but the range is not acceptable for me. I get over 300 miles from my Kona EV and I would never want to step down from that.

The lack of 4wd and small 54kWh battery is disappointing.

It's not an SUV without 4 wheel drive.
Getting Golf 7 vibes from this interior... only 10 years ago, this would be acceptable.
You can keep the electric vehicle and doesn't matter the make or model but that's for me if others want it that's fine

Does the Avenger offer wireless android auto? What is the true useable rating of the battery as Stellantis usually only state gross battery size

The rear is VERY similar looking to the C3 Aircross.
They’re saying it was made for European customers. Jeep was built on the American market and we should be receiving this product first. It will be well received
Big & monsters EV like Yukon Denali, HammerEV Silverado, RAM TRX are the Beast and best with up to 200 KW battery capacity
Always enjoy a Brian video. I like the exterior design. 200 mile range is not so great.

Concerned about the stiff suspension (road test review cargurus) especially on the back country roads here in ireland..otherwise looks a decent buy...will be a long time before getting a test drive unfortunately to test that suspension.
I would assume its the same platform as Opell Mokka-e , as specs are so close and they are probably built in the same factory.

If I have to guess they probably make Fiat version of this car an it will be 500X electric or something like that and it will probably offer more luxury compared to ruggedness you get from a Jeep.
Not necessarily, they already use this platform for Opel Mokka, Peugeot 2008, Citroen C4 and DS3. But of course, Fiat doesn't have a small electric crossover so who knows, they might go that route.

I can't honestly say that it brings anything 'new' to the marketplace but, if it gets current Jeep owners out of their polluting ICE versions, then I'm all for it. 👍

Actually, for those who care about physics...
If you were to double the size of a car in 3 dimension, width, length,hight, it would ACTUALLY have better range.
At highways speeds, about double the range actually. Why? The battery would be 8x the size, the air drag only 4x the force.
I only goes pear shaped when you skimp on the battery size or worsen the shape for aerodynamic drag. Both seem to be the norm, even though there is no rechnical teason to do so. Not even from a cost perspective.
Jeep should finally discontinue the renegade and replace it with the avenger in the states. Stellantis needs new products to keep them afloat.
