Hopefully the moors will have taken a lot of this rain this week and dumped it into the dam, we will find out on Saturday, but then i bet the water looks like a strong mug of Tea. Thanks for watching Regards MD
Thanks for the vlogs and information therein. I've usually found that when fishing streamers, fry patterns and similar flies to these with barbless hooks I'm loosing a much greater percentage of fish the that I am in contact with. This does not involve line breaks but just thrown hooks. However I've not experienced this with patterns like blue flash damsel. I was talking to a guide on The Tees a while back and he estimated that fishing these style of flies in the river with barbless hooks would probably only result in a 20% success rate in keeping the fish on. I tend to only fish barbless but am now tempted to have some barbed flies if I intend to take any fish and revert to barbless once I'm on catch and release. I always use barbless in rivers. I'd be interested to know if this is a common happening for you also?
Amazing video, I’m new to your channel and loving the content, as a newbie have you any tips on rods and reels for fishing on both lakes and rivers. Keep up the great work. Ron
Hi I have a good all-round rod which i use on both, www.fishingmegastore.com/fly-rods/shakespeare-sigma-fly-combos~31088.html?&SHP_GR20&housecode=SP3915&gad=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw6p-oBhAYEiwAgg2Pgn96AoEOWCTCBgppV4e6eobL_AOA--HRRE_i_JpjG85Vghmna0lP-xoCuZ0QAvD_BwE its the one i use in this video, you will get it with a floating line, but i use a intermediate for the this water. I just have a few reels to switch. Thanks for the comment and for watching Regards MD

Commitment, that's the attitude I like.
It was like fishing in tea, hopefully the rain this week will help out and wash the dam out. Thanks for watching Regards MD
