Ms Winnie barawa ,sorry can you give example when you want to prepare a Harvard frame work by consider the case; A loan fund was made available to individual women basket makers in a rural community
in the Philippines. The loan allowed them to purchase materials in greater quantities at
lower prices and to increase their productivity and income. Many women found that their
household and farming responsibilities did not leave them enough time to increase their
basket production. Others had difficulty repaying their loans because of pressure to use
the money for other family needs such as food and medical expenses. Those who were
able to produce more baskets still faced the problem of having to sell them to local
middlemen, who would in turn sell them for a much higher price at distant markets.
    Required:
    i. Use Harvard Framework to analyse the realities of the people in the project area. Please help me msWinnie

Hello Pendo, Thank you for requesting for my input. In this I would employ use of a Gender analysis tool such as the time use analysis tool, Gender Role analysis and the Access control and decision. These tools guide on how to identify the different realities of life in terms of opportunities in the community. They all discuss the Havard Analytic framework based on the gender roles, challenges and opportunities for development.
I have attached a session link which can help analyse Loan Fund situation. th-cam.com/video/sfFEhTbe45M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-jbMtPMwJ5o-pZTL

There is also another component of havard analytical framework called 'checklist ' what is it all about?

The checklist is a tool one uses to compare the level of gender participation in the different roles. It's a good data collection tool to help identify the gaps in our communities. I have done a lesson on this covering the gender analysis tools. Looking at time use, gender roles and access, control and decision. The checklist is clearly demonstrated in this video. Check link availed.
