Great lesson, excellent teaching and explanation of the chord sequences as to how and why they work........also like how you begin with the demonstration before the lesson.......thank you Sven

Sven another great lesson. At some time can you do a lesson on the various strumming patterns you use for emphasis, or breaks from La Pompe. Thanks John

Thanks Sven. This is the best explanation of how passing chords & inversions can be used I've come across. Very helpful :)

I love your videos Sven. I know it's only you and a camera but they're still beautifully made. Your playing and the way you get the information across is so awesome that it's a pleasure learning from them. Thank you for sharing them.

Awesome! I'm a fingerstyle player but I've always wanted to get into gypsy jazz. I just bought the same guitar you're playing here. Can't wait to get it and try these chords out on it!

Its a good mix, I'm a fingerstyle player myself. Even recorded an album last year, called "daydream".
it's availabe on Spotify for free, and i guess youtube, too.

I'm not worthy, but I'm so full of awe that I need to explain some things that Sven doesn't cover - some brilliant gems that makes this so inspiring:
For example, the Am6 is often fretted as the Am6 with the thumb in the bass (like a minor 6/9), but with the bass-note muted. This makes it easy to reach Edim by just moving the lower 3 fingers 1 fret up. Edim is the same as C#dim and this progression sounds absolutely cool.
When you go from Am6 to Bb6/9 to E7, one time Sven goes down to G7, up to Bb7 and to the E7 - try it out, it makes it sound very jazzy.
There's the D#9 leading to Dm7 (actually a D9, but I'm not sure if that was intended) - jazz all over the place!
At one time the Am6 is substituted with C6/9 in 8th fret, and then proceed to B6/9 down to Bb6/9 - so damn nice!
My grandpa played too, drums and piano. He once told me "Oh, go copy as much as you can, but only copy from the best!" - that's what I'm going to do :-)
    Thanks, Sven!

This is actually super easy if it wasn’t for the constant chord changes, keeping up with the rhythm and memorizing all of them crazy chords , fingering them cleanly and playing them in the correct order.
