Agreed! After all is said and done, Mr. Boone had a great voice, and contributed significantly to the evolution of our popular music tradition. Thanks, Pat, for the many memorable moments....
Pat Boone is one of my favorite singers in the world ❤ I Love Watching The Ed Sullivan Show ❤ Thanks For Sharing This ❤ With Love From Tiffany Porchiazzo From Jersey City NJ ❤
Que encantador y suave melodia..un galan desconocido para mi ..nunca lo había que bueno saber de su trabajo y canciones atrapadoras. Muy bueno. Gracias por compartir.
I didn’t know Pat did surf songs. I wonder what The Beach Boys would have done with this song. It seemed to be crying out for the harmonies of Brian, Carl, Mike and Al.
I liked that disappearing effect at the end. Sounded like a Beach Boys tune. I didn't know Pat sang that kind of song. He was more my mom's generation's heartthrob. Or at least for some.

Bruce Johnston & Terry Melcher (of Bruce & Terry, Rip Chords, & Beach Boys) wrote, produced, and sang backing vocals.
I actually like this version better than the rip chords.

Very elegant!
The age of the Crooners just before The Strato Electric guitar Revolution started a New Era in music 🙂

Makes me think of Don't Worry Baby by The Beach Boys.

This is also a first for me hearing Pat sing a surf song! And he does a fine job of it, which is pretty shocking to this non-Pat Boone person. 👍🙂
First concert I ever attended, Indiana State Fair.
The Beatles played there in 1964.
Pat Boone does the Beach Boys,
This was a little flat but he certainly was a handsome young man.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall of the show’s production control room.
Nice....but still waiting for the REMAINDER of Jefferson Airplane's September 68 appearance and Santana's October 69 appearance.
Was so funny when he tried to sing tutti frutti
He didn’t “try”…He “did”…All the way to #12 on the U.S. Top 40 charts…Made A LOT of $ off of that record.

How many songs did he cover from other artists especially black artists
Probably as many as Elvis and the Beatles covers of black artists.
Not nearly as many as Johnny Rivers, whose chart records are mostly covers.

I do like Pat, but you can see why these artists where swept away over night by the British Invasion
Well... at least he didn't butcher a classic rock song this time! 🤣
Thank god for the Beatles arrival! 😂
HA HA
Pat Boone is like a slice of plain white bread. You can eat it, but it tastes like nothing and you'll still be hungry when you're finished.

This song was so wrong for him
The worst singing I’ve heard from Pat Boone. He’s out of tune and out of his element here.
This doesnt give a good representation of Pats singing. Horrible
Off-key.... Was trying too hard for another hit record after a fallow period, but it never came....
God I hate Pat Boone 😂
The Exodus Song granted him immortality.
I’m only curious, how long have you known Pat Boone personally?
Horrible song--Pat was not a surfer! lol
