Put 4/5. Cloves in sugar, it will avoid ants. Moreover put cloves in all the cupboards in almirah, it avoid all the insects.Its my experience and really working❤

Ceramic jars are good. But it will not be airtight. Stainless steel with transparent or glass part in the center or lid also good.
