This must be the cop that my dad witnessed get shot and killed when he was young. He, too, used to jump the turn stalls of the subways during his rebellious years of teenage life. But one day, he saw someone else do it. the cop noticed the stranger and said "hey" the stranger said something to the cop that sounded like a phrase from a movie, pulled a gun from his pocket and shot the cop before bolting off down the hall. My did never jumped the turn stall after witnessing this. though, this must be a previous one, because my dad said ye was in high school when that happened, which was, in my theory 1983 through 1988. Though, he probably dosen't remember when.
What is old is new! Fourth industrial revolution. The next 20 years of this city will be rough. Good bye to 2011-2019 (the safest the city was since the 1950’s)
I haven't been in new York city since 2016. I remember last being there in 2016. it was soo clean and well kept and controlled. Even during the nights. it was nothing like it used to be 30 years ago. With this whole covid thing, it's going to come back to the way it was 30 years ago. The craziest it ever gotten was in Times Square where I witnessed a guy in a cookie monster suit getting attacked by a police dog. I used to visit my grandmother up in New York city near the city part in 2005-2007 and I remember it still somewhat being stuck in the 90's with it's dirty streets and those run-down buildings.
Ghost guns & Coast Guard Patrols will be the toughest to tackle after we Dam the roadways I still believe people should have the right to be licensed one person can only deal with so many people & Police can't always be there
Det Liu and Det Ramos lived in the city and were executed in their radio car. No difference. Dead is dead. That is such lame stupid reasoning. Living in the city sucks now since democrats took over and rewrote the bail laws. 10 murders in the subway this year.
Except, it's too expensive to live in it in this day & age due to cost of living and they get little pay! Unlike back then they was able to and other profession work in The City and live in Long Island they too should live in the City they work in as well.
Sure. The cops wanna live in the crime infested areas that they patrol ! NOT and they shouldn’t have to, they are entitled to live in areas that have little to no crime !
Rest in Peace Officer Calabrese.
to think EVERY PERSON in this video is no longer with us
Not all, but most
However i was thinking the same thing
I was 15 in 1980 sophomore in High School
Sad story
@@oliverv291 I wasn't born (86)
No, They would only be in their 70's. I am sure many of them are still around.
How do you work that one out? It's only 40 odd years ago and not every one in the video is over 40 or 50.
Every person? Plenty of people in their 60s and 70s are still around. This was 1980 not 1880....

If Welfare recipients can live anywhere they want, so can cops
