I never listened to Al Sharpton give a sermon before. I've only heard his speeches during his protests and activism. However, wow! He gave an amazing eulogy and sermon! This was a treat! What a great message!

I think they have been! This is one of the greatest speeches in American history. It's just so incredibly sad that it needed to be made, that it came in the form of Eulogy! And still today Trump does nothing but continue to try to divide our nation violently. The man is so racist that he would rather rip America apart and lose his election (which is all he cares about in his sociopathic love of power) than pretend for five minutes to support Black Lives Matter & justice. That's how racist he is.

Yes, i remember watching it live on CNN (from Sweden) and I was riveted too. A great speech, delivered with dignity, heartfelt earnestness and humour ("you don't entrust something to me if you want to keep it a secret, because I am known not to be a guy who keeps silent...I'm the Demolition Man" - quoted from memory). The reference to Donald Trump holding a Bible upside down at 1:48 is too cool - but above all, a eulogy of great emotional power, delivered with style.

@Saint Augustine actually they did help hold him down his legs. Thats what i saw online. Never the less they are being charged with aiding and abetting. They all are facing charges but chauvin had his charges upgraded to 2nd degree murder now. Whether they convict them all remains to be seen. I personally hope they all face some kind of punishment. Most likely if chauvin goes to prison he wont last in there somebody will kill him.

I believe that George was calling his mother because he was passing over to the other side of justice and righteousness. George's mother not only had her arms open to receive her son George but so did our Sovereign Creator God and our Savior Jesus who died for ALL humanity. God always gives His people (the people of God all over) a sign that all is well with our loved one and Him because our loved one is with me now. George's fight is over and those of us who still remain must continue in the fight (living in righteousness and holiness with the help of the Holy Spirit); keep pressing toward the mark of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus. George fought a good fight in his earthen body and now he has a heavenly body. The enemy of George's soul thought that he had done something but he did NOT. What satan means for our (anyone who is a child of God) evil, God turns it around for good and His glory. Glory to God in the highest! God is our Strong tower! God is Mighty in battle! Hallelujah!!! May God's blessings overtake this family and all families everywhere. Amen! It is so! In Jesus Name!!!

At the end he was charged for using counterfeit bills. I am not justifying the action of the police officer but Floyd was no hero that deserves such outrage. In other words he was no better than Charles Manson and he is burning in hell for eternity.

The tribute to African American mamas left me in tears. I have been listening to the part again and again. It will stay in history as Martin Luther King Jr's I have dream part. It's the most powerful and awesome tribute to mothers. They are the pillars of families and nations. America! the whole world is watching. The whole world is deeply moved from Europe, to Africa, to the Asia to Pacific. Hope is permitted. African Americans have a tremendous survival capacity. Native Americans were completely wiped out. African Americans survived and are still there, making gains in spite of untold oppression and suppression. They excel in sports, music, entertainment, literature etc. They shall overcome racism and subjugation.

Second, WOOSH this is way over your head and anyone else's head that doesn't get it and doesn't realize this transcends racial injustice. This isn't about " give me , give me, give me" in addition to racial injustice it's about equality, progression, and accountability.
As a medical scientist I had to go through years of education, and an internship. YEARS. Yet , we have a police force that gets training for 6 months and all the sudden they are experts? Some with a mere highschool education, and nothing else. No psychological or social training, and no basic health fundamentals. You are missing the point just like so many others.

    Mother America
Although I am very fair skin, my coun·te·nance is black, although I was raised by a white mother, my experience is black, although I have the blood of many nations running through my veins the blood I bleed is black, I have loved a black man, I have married a black man, I have birthed black children.
I am a black woman who loves self, my identity is so tied up in black culture I resonate across several generations of knowledge of a continent that birthed the world. My pride,my song, my soul is that of a African people who built everything you see. We are the foundation America was built upon our backs, blood, sweat and tears. What do you fear? Why must you kill those whom you came from? It was at my breast you suckled after your first breath, I fed you as I did my own, at times neglecting my child to make sure you had enough! Was my sacrifice not filling to your belly?, was Not my blood , sweat and tears, the sustenance this country grew on?, I have given, and given, and given of myself until I am empty. I will no longer stand silent as you kill my children simply for the rich melanin that covers their skin. I will wail, rage, fight, claw, beat my drums, scream til I can no longer speak, until you hear me to the depths of your Depravity until you understand that you came from me! I am mother of all! This black woman created all!
