I would love to see Ashley on this US team for the World Cup finals. She has the BEST qualities to be on this US national team
Exciting player. It also blows my mind that a player like her seems to be quite underrated...which speaks to the quality of the USWNT players. Kelley did a great job making a case for Ashley Sanchez:) And the dog....the dog...so cute...the dog!
As an aside, I think Kelly O’Hara has future coach written all over her. She appears to be a great leader and knows the game well. Sanchez and Rodman certainly have benefited from having her as a teammate.
I think there's favoritism on the team but hopefully she gets an opportunity
Her time will come i've been following Ashley and Mallory since their teenage days playing together for the youth US teams they both were dominate she was still very young when they first brought her on at 17 now that she's matured she will see the field more and eventually she will be in the starting 11. Mallory came on and played strong early on and then she struggled as well and was left off the last world cup team some part due to injury as well but look at her now she's thriving this would have been her world cup to star in unfortunately she tore her acl and will miss this world cup.
She's in the top 3 most technical USWNT players w Lavelle & Macario
I wish they would setup the offense around her...turn her into a Messi like player
Needs more minutes! Since we aren’t getting a new coach…. Maybeeee we can wish in 2023 for more minutes. With minutes comes even better instincts. She’s humble & she’s good. I wish her all the best 🫶🏽

Love watching Sanchez, Rodman, and Pugh, and Smith play … so much speed and craftiness. Great players.
If Sanchez and Rodman can get the Washington Spirit performing a lot better than the disaster of last season, they will both be starters in the US national team.

Since England and Spain have beaten the US team, that means they are getting stronger, and the USA has to produce more with the newcomers, otherwise the competition will be uneven.
Usually in “the journey” videos we see the player’s families included. Wondering why her family wasn’t included- would’ve been nice to see more of her background.

Why is it that with many distinctions, performance on the field several merit awards, has Asley Sanchez been overlooked as a player for USWNT? Not given much of a chance. Grantred she neens preparation, but she will respond positively to whatever opportuity she's given. The potential is definitely there!
O'hara seems to think she has talent and potential. As O'hara said; She's unstopable! So what the problem is? She needs to be brought back in! She will not disappoint!

I'm happy Ashley Sanchez is so talented and crafty, but this USWNT has so many tiny players. Ashley Sanchez, Rose Lavelle, Mallory Pugh 5ft. 4, Emily Fox 5ft. 5. Alex Morgan defends about 1/2 of our set pieces.
