When you have cancer life can get very difficult sometimes. Little things help. I don’t play games at all but somehow I landed upon watching DayZ content 3 years ago. Smoke is my favourite creator and the very first TH-cam DayZ post I ever watched was one of his. These videos help the difficult moments wither a little now. I find enjoyment in the little things that take my mind off of the fact that I’m in a dog fight with a beast called cancer. Thanks Smoke.

around 2:44:00 he’s talking about why dayz is prettt despite dated graphics. For me i think of like this, real life looks shitty and washed out sometimes, things are rarely super saturated and colorful in real life, and i think dayz captures the elegant muted colors of real life well
That was literally my first experience, i spawned and found a rod. Searched for a hook and tried digging for worms 😂 then i gave up and just fished with the hook and it worked. And i gotta say it made me fall in love with the map immediately, such a cool thing to think about the frozen floor and no worms in the ground. Sometimes its really those small details in dayz that amaze me. Like in cherno, i realized the wind and the tree sounds are mixed with zombie sounds also a really cool detail imo ❤

The poor guy's mind must have been literally blown.. Mine would have been. He was on a little fishing adventure, and hoping to find things to eat and some weapons and.. boom.. Space suits and floating rocks and teleporting . Absolutely brilliant smoke. Always brilliant.

You're right, they USED to explode. DayZ devs changed that 2 updates ago and didn't put it in patch notes. It has been tested in the last year or so multiple times and it's no longer a thing. Trust me, it's happened to me in the past also so I stopped carrying them on the best but now I put them on the vest because they can't explode anymore. Wobo and the fresh spawns have both tested this
On the topic of small things to learn...recently realized when you mouse over an item/corpse if there's no "+" sign there's no loot. Saves a lot of tabbing in/out.

He seemed such an avid dayz-watcher so I was surprised (and yet it was such fun) to see he was not aware of the storm, orb, space suits etc. Guess he's never watched much namalsk.. Have you tried that "Survival of the Fittest" Namalsk server? Literally 127 player pop and it's insane. Just a fresh spawn punch out fest with everyone scrambling to find clothes. Lol.
There have been servers with 150 in the past for Chernarus. There were little to no zombies and server ran like ass after about 90 people but yeah 127 is possible

The stuttering is caused from not having dayz imstalled on same drive as windows and steam i.e drive c: had the same stuttering would only happen on dayz just install steam and dayz on same drive as windows

I just got dayz on pc, (iv been playing on console since 2019) does anybody know what servers he plays on for namalsk? I have ZERO interest in stream sniping him or ever playing with him. No it’s not. It says 127 24 hrs a day. It’s not accurate and they fixed it so you can’t cheese the server pop anymore
