As someone trying to get into good art schools, I feel Robert's pain for trying to get in and being rejected. I'm glad he found his way and ended up being internationally known for good art in the end.
Your my Banksy, more importantly your music , I was there at the Start , and will be till the end, no words can describe how I feel when I put on Blue lines, safe from harm, list goes on, you work with amazing artists, you are an incredible human being, I admire you and the work you do, and I guess all I want to say is, Thankyou! ❤️
Check out his body movements, his hand movements and the tone and speed of his voice.. this is Bansky without a doubt. The same guy in Exit through the gift shop...
Let's see, Robert is shown doing Stencil art on walls, just like Banksy. Robert is a graffiti artist from Bristol, just like Banksy. Robert speaks out on political issues such as the stigmitisation of migrants and Palestinian rights, just like Banksy who has placed politically minded graffiti addressing these same issues at sites such the Calais 'Jungle' camp and the Israeli West Bank Wall. Robert in his job as a touring musician has appeared in various places around the world at the same time and location that Banksy works have sprung up. And Robert has appeared in Banksy's self-directed documentary/mockumentary movie Exit Through The Gift Shop, and scored the music for some of Banky's installation. So yeah, definitely not the same person. At all.

if he's Bansky then he must had like two separate brains because his art is different, Banksy has a more direct message and takes on pop culture whilst 3D seems to build his own world, more personal.
The style of the artists is always transforming, I've started my art journey by drawing fantasy characters, now I'm strictly dedicated to political art.
Rosez Yeah, but is your name "Rob", are you from Bristol and amongst part of that crew that began graffing in the 80's? Were you using stencils as far back as 3-D? If you watch other graff docs about Bristol and from that era the other artists all say how much they hated the thought of stencils, how nobody else was doing it back then, how they "hated Banksy" because they thought it cheating, etc. I certainly found it interesting to see 3-D doing stencil art so early on. I also found it very interesting how he talked about his 2 strikes and having to think up new tactics in order to avoid his 3rd ... like working under a new name and hiding his identity perhaps? What is interesting is, since the rise of Banksy and Massive Attack, 3-D doing traditional graffiti on public streets became more of a rarity. He did more commissioned artwork (when working as 3-D at least) and his style changed quite a lot. I always used to think 3-D wasn't Banksy because the style is so different, but when I look at the piece he throws up in this video it is FAR closer to Banksy's style than I ever realised.
it's funny thing that when the concert of Massive Attack held in Moscow in 2008, just in few steps from the place there was an exhibition of Bansky art. And then they said that that Exhibition was illigal. i mean, if it were Robert he would have shut that exb immediately.
And people say he's Banksy? I don't think so but I do think he's secretly actor Ed Norton (FIGHT CLUB, AMERICAN HISTORY X). Still, he's one of the music greats!
Hello, I´m Gabriela Navarrete on behalf of Fidelio Films, we recently shot a fashion film for Lafayette a Colombian fashion brand and we are really interested in using one of Massive Attack´s songs for this product, we urgently need to contact the band´s management in order to further discuss this issue, could you help us with this matter?
Art as universal achievement, art for all and for everyone, no boundaries, no walls around but behind, rather holding the art piece up. Banksy is Caravaggio and Michelangelo of our disgraceful time.
totally in love with Robert lately. Thank you for sharing this interesting material with us.
The man. The myth. The legend.

He made it on his own term without succumbing to the snobby money grabbing gatekeepers.. good for him, an inspiration for all of us for sure.
rezmar wrong he is banksy
@@mandemt1076 lol of course

He was rejected by a certain art school and studied something similar but yea, he arsed about a bit. Wafer thin existence.

Why so many people believed that 3D is banksy
Yep so true 👍🏽😉
@@ippipp3540 well goldie said that banksy name was robert and his from bristol so makes sense.
@@ippipp3540 Because they want him to be this big famous superstar, not some regular ass dude that's unknown outside of his Banksy persona
He speaks with such clarity... no "um...", "err...", "like...", "basically..."!

Good job. ❤
Both Del Naja and BANKSY are perfectly content with you believing either or…as long as you’re receiving the message and doing something with it. ✌🏼
Cool, thx for this!!

but you can see that this is 1986 and Banksy's art has evolved; no artist is the same over 30 years
guess you missed a few Massive Attack records ...

This dude is older than Banksy tho right?
Or he changed his style since the 80s..
