I do want to give a three thousand thank you to Arnel. This lesson helps me a lot. Finally, I understand the differences and the use of be, do and have. Untying my knot.
Hello ma'am. I'm from India and I'm a Bengali. I want you to teach us how to use "feel - feel like", "sound - sound like", "smell - smell like", "look - look like" and "taste - taste like" in different tenses like simple present tense, present continuous tense, simple past, past continuous tense.
When you wanna request something to someone you don't know, you should be more polite. Trynna use structures such as: would you mind teaching...?; Can you teach...?; May you teach...? Warm regards!
Thanks Arnel for this lesson, you're the best English teacher I've never seen :) For me this subject was easy to understand because this is not the first time I work on auxiliary verbs and main verbs . For me the hardest subject is the tenses , present perfect, future continuous.... But your videos help me a lot to improve my English. Wensday you're doing a live , don't you ? I'm looking forward to it 😊
Thank you so much Jamil! Yes, tenses are definitely challenging and there are just so many of them! I'm really happy you enjoy my lessons. That means a lot to me. Yes, live this Wednesday! I look forward to seeing you there :) *....you're doing a live, AREN'T you?
Hi, Arnel! It was a useful lesson as always and I got 15/15. I have two questions. - V1 refers to the base form of the verb, not the present simple form, doesn't it? - Do we consider the whole phrasal verb (verb+particle) as the main verb?
Wonderful score Kamatchi! Great questions. 1) Yes, V1 usually refers to the base verb, but because it's the same as the present simple verb (for the vast majority of verbs in English), it's often labelled V1 for simplicity. It's just the 3rd person form that makes it different. 2) Yes, a phrasal verb contains two (or three) parts and the whole thing would be considered the main verb. I hope this helps! :)
@ArnelsEverydayEnglish Thanks for the immediate response. That's so sweet of you, Arnel! ❤️ By the way, apart from being a learner of the English language, I'm also a budding TH-camr. That's why I want to learn each and everything and focus on the differences and nuances. Becoming an English tutor is my dream. I want to teach English to my Tamil-speaking audience, especially students from Tamil-medium schools. And you are truly my inspiration! I really want to make videos like yours -- a visual treat for learners.🤩😍
Hi Arnel! You might be remembering me as I wrote in your last video that my name is Nainika. You made my concept so clear that I can defeat my elder cousin in the competition of auxiliary verbs. He is in 10th class. May god bless you. You are the best teacher in the world.
Pura Vida Arnel🌴. I wish I had the whispering Arnel while I have a doubt while writing my work emails. I got 15/15. That was a wonderful review to refresh my memory. I wrote some sentences to practice the auxiliary verbs and tenses 1. Some of the flowers at my garden have been eaten by ants lately. 2. I do love to have a lighten house for Christmas. 3. I have been a mentor for my coworkers due to experience.
Amazing video with perfect quality the lesson was helpful the quiz was not so hard and I got 13/15 you look so radiant as always I hope that you have a beautiful rest of the day love you so much!! 😊🩷😊🩷😊
Hello Arnel, you are the best. I learn English with you and I think it's a great idea to teach English with tv shows. Could you make one video at least with The Simpsons? I know it, I still make mistakes...d'oh!

What's the difference between
"stop doing that" VS
"stop be doing that"?
"Stop be doing that" isn't grammatically correct. I'm not sure where you heard this?
