I'm a big darts fan and James showed a degree of humility and honesty thats rarely seen in his darts interviews ; he and Simon deserve credit for that , well done both
I must admit I was never a fan of Wade's attitude seeing him playing Darts and post game interviews etc... but this interview has given me a different perspective and outlook on things. Mental health/Psychological conditions are no joke. I can empathise and sympathise completely. Best of luck in the future James. Was nice to see a bit of a soft side with Simon too
James ( class ) Wade, I have been watching him for so long now & always will & I do believe another major tournament is in his own hands love this guy he is quality.
This is such a great podcast. I have so much respect for Simon Jordan and did not realise he suffers from panic attacks, he's an honest interviewer and never trades in hyperbole. I don't even watch darts but this was a very entertaining and insightful interview. Keep up the good work.
@@pavanmeka3925 So true. In these times of fakery and people scared to give their opinions, Simon is a breath of fresh air. Even people who might not like him, enjoy listening to what he has to say.
I’ve always respected Simon, don’t agree with all his views but I respect him. I must say James really took me a back here, very open , very honest admitting a lot of things which truly I didn’t realise and I have to say much respect to him for that and I wish him well in his career and that he helps his mental health more and more , blessings to him and Simon and to all who read this, we are coming up on a difficult time which is also a magical time depending on how you feel and possibly both . James Wade when he came on to the scene as a player was phenomenal. I always used to say he should have won more and watching this brilliant interview makes me realise why he didn't. Keep speaking up for those with adverse mental health James, you are a legend for doing so and competing at the top level in darts.
Seeing interviews like this gives you a better understanding of the individual you don’t nor will not see in an interview post game. Unfortunately it seems James is still struggling at times with his actions after losing games but he is a great darts player to watch when things are going well in his personal life. I hope many people watch this video especially those ( and I am one) who have been very critical about his behaviour at times. I’m glad he was able to and accept help. He obviously has a very loving and supportive family. Glad I watched this.
I am also Bi Polar and i will admit right here and now, i would fold under any pressure and have panic attacks whilst showing terrible Manic behavior. He does so well to keep things contained, wish i could.
Great interview with James, who, despite his (mental) health issues seems quite a nice guy. The best of luck to him regarding winning a world title before he hangs his darts up - competitively and professionally, and, thanks for uploading.
This is probably the best one you've done Simon... I can relate to so much on this cast, I run a garage Monday to Friday... but sometimes on a Saturday I'll come in and work on my own car's and like James said that is the best part for me and gives me the enthusiasm and drive back that I've lost through the week dealing with absolute idiots. Don't get me wrong most customers are great but the idiots that have watched wheeler dealers that think you can rebuild a car in an hour, because they saw Edd China do it last week lol.. just grates on me now and makes me want to pack it in sometimes. Keep up the good podcasts pal 👍
@@s1dew1nd3r4I don't think he's underrated at all. James has always been a very very tough guy to beat. I don't think you'll find a professional darts player that doesn't rate wade highly.
Great interview, first time seeing Wadey in a long form. Been a fan for many years, talk about longevity in the sport. And hats off to him for being so open and honest, hopefully he gets the full support he needs from the PDC. Thanks very much.
This, along with the John Barnes interview, has been very insightful. I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far - to get into the player's mindset on their struggles and the issues surrounding society and authority is eye-opening.
I was hyped to see James announced as a guest. My favourite darts player and a really nice guy on the occasions I met him. He’s a really important voice in the game 👏
James was the first player that caught my attention and actually got me tuned into darts , my first ever set of darts I purchased were a replica of his own darts . And I used to try copy his style of throw when I started playing . And ever since I have always rooted for him in any tournament he's participating in. Now after watching this interview I'm truly inspired by his personal life story and all the demons he has faced and how he has come through all of it whilst still being able to be capable of being one of the best players in the world on his day . I really hope James hits a good run of form this year and is back in the mix for some big trophy's because he truly does deserve it ✌️
One of the best Up Fronts I’ve watched, different from most other due to pressure of sports and mental health, well done James for being present and honest 👍🏻👍🏻
