Apparently the group message issue isn't actually about bubble colors. It's about how replies work and and how the messages get organized. Apparently there's some extra hoops to jump through or some way Android messages mess it up. Actual functional differences that make the group chat a bit more onerous

Sonic Heroes was one that when I first picked it up at a thrift store for only $3 bucks when the Gamecube version is the most expesive and when I first was playing it through Team Sonic's campaign, I didn't really jive with it at first and just got stuck in the last section of Haunted Castle and dropped it for a bit, but then when I finally watched people who knew how to play it and I applied that to me, I enjoyed it a lot more. And I would say that Heroes is the game that needs the remake more because as fun as it is, it has parts that are super janky compared to the Adventure games so it getting a chance to have a new layer of polish would be very appreciated

Sonic Hereos was the LAST Sega game I ever though was going to be remade. THE INTERNET HAS BEEN WAYY TO QUIET ABOUT IT! I was mainly a sonic adventure fan. But I played hereos for a little bit before (and recently re-bought it for myself ) so its just crazy how a game I recently bought randomly is going to have a remake! :O
You'd think Denuvo could figure out how to implement their DRM without affecting performance so much. But apparently they suck at that along with making the games that get it included suck just as bad.

I love android more than iphone because im more of a thinkerer and iphones restrictions would always make it hard for anything, i used to jailbreak my iphones just to download emulators, i loved gba4ios and then i switched to android and everything was more open that you could sideload apps without many restrictions. I also have many more custimazations available and not a big deal breaker bit i enjoy pens on a galaxy note
I use Playstation stars all the time, so do several of my friends. Sonic heroes remake will be amazing, hopefully we'll get a riders remake. Also 30 hrs into Dragons Dogma 2(im new to the series) & wow is this game great.

I wish Final Fantasy would take the time to iterate on their most recent entries just to refine and fix up some ideas and attempts that didn't fully hit the mark. And maybe scale the scope down so they don't have as many performance issues. It looks like 16 and 7 Rebirth both had issues on that front which is weird since they were both focused solely on PS5.

Sonic Heroes would be a good game to get a remake, as it gives Sega a chance to make any flops they're going to make with an Adventure Era remake and (hopefully) learn from it, without messing up everyone's favorite entries from that era. Then maybe they can make an absolute gem of a remake for SA 1 and 2 later down the line.
First smartphone I had as a kid was an iPhone. Few years later I had to upgrade to another iPhone. After moving out of my parents house I got an Android and have been happy ever since. My Android (which I am using to type this comment) is currently 6 years old and still going strong.
At the very least Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are still available on Steam. Sonic Heroes on the other hand has been stuck on the sixth generation and did have some jank at the time so I think it's more deserving of a (hopefully) proper remake. Sega could probably get away with doing either a port or simple remaster of the Adventure games
I got into the apple echo system with the 4, left for a year, and came back with the 5c. I’ve been having a lot of issues with iPhone dropping my Bluetooth earbuds on phone calls recently, which makes me feel any to leave iPhone. The thing that makes it hard to leave is the convenience of being able to move all my pictures and video over easily than switching to an android. Could I back it up? Sure, but it’s more of a hassle.
Started with Android and stuck with it for nine years. I have been with Iphone for the last eight years now. I am all for the DOJ and Eu to make Apple change and be more customer friendly. All the mega corporations are out of control and not customer friendly as they could be.
For the record, I actively keep up with playstation stars. I'm level 4 and my collection is pretty large. Keep in mind, sometimes just starting a quest and playing the games you were gonna play anyway can give you coins. Those coins can turn into ps gift cards. I've used stars to get like 30 dollars worth of cards for free

Just to correct a few misconceptions you have around denuvo. First, no one is cracking it these days. Second, when it was cracked in the past, it was still impacting performance. The crack was bypassing it, not removing it.
Weird that Sonic Heroes is getting a remake before Adventure 1 or 2. Hey, I'm not complaining. Heroes was my first Sonic game. It's pretty underrated, though it is a bit on the easier side.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is a great example of why buying games on release isn't in most people's best interest. Waiting a while before picking it up would mean you get to play the improved version that is patched and there is a good chance you can buy the game at a discount later.
Seems like quite a few devs are pinning hopes and dreams the Switch2 launch, but they should be careful: there won't be 100 million Switch2 units in owner's hands overnight. Bots will own 75% of the first 20 million units.

I’m concerned about the Switch 2, after you discussed FF16 potentially coming to the next gen Switch in 2 years. This console is going to launch underpowered again, we all believe their console has been ready perhaps 1 or 2 years already. When this thing releases next year it’ll already be 3 years older than it should be.
Nintendo hasn't been concerned with powerful hardware since the GameCube. So yes, the Switch 2 will be "underpowered"; however, Nintendo's main concern is price. They don't want this thing to be more than $300 or $350 at the most. And considering that they've sold 138 million Switch consoles, I think Nintendo will be fine if they stick to that same strategy.

They had the Switch 2 developed about 2 years ago, by the time it releases it’ll be 3 year old technology. So at 5 years after launch it’ll be 8 year old technology. It’ll be very poorly equipped to last an entire console generation.

I think the people who complain about FF7 rebirth looking bad in performance mode are playing on 4K TV, I was playing on a 1080p and it looks absolutely fine. Not sure about 16 as not played in yet as I’ve only just got into Final Fantasy and now going back to play the original FF7.
I'm glad I don't care about frame rate, I just play the games and enjoy them, so much focus on graphics and frame rates is tacking it's toll on the industry

Sonic heroes is one of my favorite sonic games and have always wanted it at minimum ported to modern console or pc. The only downside to the game was it felt like you were on ice. I loved having longer stages. People say “why not adventure” adventure is on like everything. Heroes is stuck on old consoles unless you emulate it

I played so much of Sonic Heroes with my cousins on ps2. Still play the game to this day on PC as there are 4K widescreen mods for windows. In my humble (minority) opinion it's the 3D Sonic game that aged the best.
I've been checking the PS Store multiple times a day waiting for the Stellar Blade Demo to show back up. I work weekends so was hoping for an early-weekday drop 😅 Well, I'll be recording and uploading video of it this weekend, I guess.
The fact that the higher ups at Sony thought it would be a great idea to make a bobblehead version of Jim Ryan and think that people want that just shows how detached they are from their consumer base
I want it as a homage to the great man. Sure, as a gamer some decisions sucked, but from a business standpoint, he only enriched me with dividend payouts through all the faux outrage and during his tenure.

Sonic Hereos was the LAST Sega game I ever though was going to be remade. THE INTERNET HAS BEEN WAYY TO QUIET ABOUT IT! I was mainly a sonic adventure fan. But I played hereos for a little bit before (and recently re-bought it for myself ) so its just crazy how a game I recently bought randomly is going to have a remake! :O

I love android more than iphone because im more of a thinkerer and iphones restrictions would always make it hard for anything, i used to jailbreak my iphones just to download emulators, i loved gba4ios and then i switched to android and everything was more open that you could sideload apps without many restrictions. I also have many more custimazations available and not a big deal breaker bit i enjoy pens on a galaxy note
I use Playstation stars all the time, so do several of my friends. Sonic heroes remake will be amazing, hopefully we'll get a riders remake. Also 30 hrs into Dragons Dogma 2(im new to the series) & wow is this game great.

Sonic Heroes is an absolute classic, I’ve been obsessed with that game ever since I saw it in the store as a kid after playing Sonic Advanced. We got it on PS2 and I’ve played it at least once every year since then. Since about 2008 I’ve been playing it on PC though lol

It’s pretty obvious why Sonic Heroes is the one being remade over the Adventure games. Sega likes money and Sonic Heroes used to be the best selling Sonic game of all time at one point. Definitely looking forward to it.

I wish Final Fantasy would take the time to iterate on their most recent entries just to refine and fix up some ideas and attempts that didn't fully hit the mark. And maybe scale the scope down so they don't have as many performance issues. It looks like 16 and 7 Rebirth both had issues on that front which is weird since they were both focused solely on PS5.
If they were to remake paperboy, would you rather have it looking like:

My sonic hero’s disk was broken so I could only hear the title music and not play the game. It haunted me for so long when I finally got another copy of the game I was overjoyed
Sonic Heroes would be a good game to get a remake, as it gives Sega a chance to make any flops they're going to make with an Adventure Era remake and (hopefully) learn from it, without messing up everyone's favorite entries from that era. Then maybe they can make an absolute gem of a remake for SA 1 and 2 later down the line.
First smartphone I had as a kid was an iPhone. Few years later I had to upgrade to another iPhone. After moving out of my parents house I got an Android and have been happy ever since. My Android (which I am using to type this comment) is currently 6 years old and still going strong.

At the very least Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are still available on Steam. Sonic Heroes on the other hand has been stuck on the sixth generation and did have some jank at the time so I think it's more deserving of a (hopefully) proper remake. Sega could probably get away with doing either a port or simple remaster of the Adventure games

I got into the apple echo system with the 4, left for a year, and came back with the 5c. I’ve been having a lot of issues with iPhone dropping my Bluetooth earbuds on phone calls recently, which makes me feel any to leave iPhone. The thing that makes it hard to leave is the convenience of being able to move all my pictures and video over easily than switching to an android. Could I back it up? Sure, but it’s more of a hassle.

I do use PlayStation Stars mostly to collect points to buy games, got a couple that way.
Started with Android and stuck with it for nine years. I have been with Iphone for the last eight years now. I am all for the DOJ and Eu to make Apple change and be more customer friendly. All the mega corporations are out of control and not customer friendly as they could be.

For the record, I actively keep up with playstation stars. I'm level 4 and my collection is pretty large. Keep in mind, sometimes just starting a quest and playing the games you were gonna play anyway can give you coins. Those coins can turn into ps gift cards. I've used stars to get like 30 dollars worth of cards for free

Just to correct a few misconceptions you have around denuvo. First, no one is cracking it these days. Second, when it was cracked in the past, it was still impacting performance. The crack was bypassing it, not removing it.

Weird that Sonic Heroes is getting a remake before Adventure 1 or 2. Hey, I'm not complaining. Heroes was my first Sonic game. It's pretty underrated, though it is a bit on the easier side.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is a great example of why buying games on release isn't in most people's best interest. Waiting a while before picking it up would mean you get to play the improved version that is patched and there is a good chance you can buy the game at a discount later.
Seems like quite a few devs are pinning hopes and dreams the Switch2 launch, but they should be careful: there won't be 100 million Switch2 units in owner's hands overnight. Bots will own 75% of the first 20 million units.
NO Sonic Adventure remakes?! It is literally the best titles they have made! Seems like a bad call to not remake those considering the fan base has been so strong for it, for so many years.

I’m concerned about the Switch 2, after you discussed FF16 potentially coming to the next gen Switch in 2 years. This console is going to launch underpowered again, we all believe their console has been ready perhaps 1 or 2 years already. When this thing releases next year it’ll already be 3 years older than it should be.
Nintendo hasn't been concerned with powerful hardware since the GameCube. So yes, the Switch 2 will be "underpowered"; however, Nintendo's main concern is price. They don't want this thing to be more than $300 or $350 at the most. And considering that they've sold 138 million Switch consoles, I think Nintendo will be fine if they stick to that same strategy.
The switch isn't underpowered though, it's a handheld. It's ridiculous to compare it to ps4 or any other console.

I don't know if green bubbles are a thing in high school, but I suspect so since I have heard other college students many time comment saying that is the reason the switches to iphone, as well as others complain that I made the chat into green bubbles
Final fantasy 16 was developed for ps5 in mind, any alternative platform releases could potentially be an ff7 remake situation when it went to PC.
The only thing that keeps me current-generation gaming is the promise of more Sonic stuff getting remastered. What the fuck does that say about me as a person?

I think the people who complain about FF7 rebirth looking bad in performance mode are playing on 4K TV, I was playing on a 1080p and it looks absolutely fine. Not sure about 16 as not played in yet as I’ve only just got into Final Fantasy and now going back to play the original FF7.
I'm glad I don't care about frame rate, I just play the games and enjoy them, so much focus on graphics and frame rates is tacking it's toll on the industry

Sonic heroes is one of my favorite sonic games and have always wanted it at minimum ported to modern console or pc. The only downside to the game was it felt like you were on ice. I loved having longer stages. People say “why not adventure” adventure is on like everything. Heroes is stuck on old consoles unless you emulate it
