I was crying right alongside you! The school I moved out of was also the school I completed my internship in and taught their for three years. My kiddos were so excited I had gotten a new job. However, one of my kiddos I have known since my internship so 3 1/2 years. When I walked him to his bus. He just started bawling telling me how much he would miss me and didn’t want me to go. I tried so hard to stay strong but I cried too! I cry just thinking about it. Luckily, I have his mom on Facebook so we can stay in touch. She said he was still crying when he got off the bus. Makes me feel like I’m doing something right! Praying for you & your new adventure.

Moving classrooms is hard work 😓! So glad your Mom could be there to help. Moms make everything better! ☺️

Love you!! You know I cried right alongside you. You've been so blessed to be at that school since intership. I can't imagine how hard it was to leave. Thank goodness your mom was there to help you pack up- she's such a pro! That was some superb "tetris-ing".
Praying for an amazing school to hire you soon!!

I totally get the “asking permission” thing with David. I am a total slob when it comes to money and budgeting. I tell my husband when I ask I’m not actually asking permission I’m asking “if I go buy this am I going to blow our budget.” It’s because of him our bills get paid 😂

I already watched your newer set up videos but I can’t remember if your new classroom has the cinderblock walls or not. I’ve seen people using hot glue to hang laminated posters/decor up on the cinderblock and it doesn’t damage the walls or the posters. Thought you could save some money from all the painters tape and get you a cordless hot glue gun.

I wasn't allowed to use hot glue in this classroom (hence the CRAZY amount of tape) but I will definitely consider it for my new room!

It is definitely tough because we all work so hard to develop positive relationships with our students and build a little class family! The good news is a new class/school family awaits ☺️
