This is SO true! After I learned this I went back and fixed one of my older videos that I thought should have been doing better (I changed the title, tags, and description with much better and more targeted keywords) It worked!!! And during this time I have received many comments that ask "how come you don't have more subscribers", "how come you don't have more views", " why is your channel so underrated"? This is the most in depth video I have found. The others are detailed but to a different degree. They all say in vague ways that you need to add such and such, but dont go into detail about what are the best strategies like you did. Gonna try this and hope it works! I feel like my tags used to be this way naturally but I thought I was doing them not as well as I couldve and started doing them wrong! So thank you for uploading this! I'm sure this will help heaps!

Great video Gillian. I’m a little late to this one! Refreshing to see a video on tags that isn’t primarily about vidIQ or TubeBuddy, or both. Clearly a lot of these other vids are focused on the affiliate marketing opportunities with those softwares, but nonetheless there are many of us that are now so indoctrinated into thinking that tags etc can’t be done without one of those softwares.
Unfortunately I’m reinventing myself and have absolutely no income. Not even 29.00 I honestly wish I could afford it. I have great respect for you and trust how real and honest you are. I’d love to have you on my team, maybe one day!

thank you for putting out an awesome video. I've decided to start a TH-cam channel about personal mindset and development. But i've got a question I know that your supposed to be happy and energetic when you are doing a video, but would i want to start with my tragic backstory (i buried my mom, dad, grandad, brother, and uncle from age 9 to age 12) and tell the viewers what self limiting beliefs i created. I want to show them I could change my mindset after all that tragedy, then anyone can do it or should i start with what I've learned and down the road tell them that story.
stoogey1 other videos start saying a summary of things they learned and what lessons they want to share then go to the events that caused them to learn those lessions and what they got out of them. then end with a recap of lessions and more detailed explanation of how they came to such conclusions from said events. and there thoughts.

thank you for putting out an awesome video. I've decided to start a TH-cam channel about personal mindset and development. But i've got a question
I know that your supposed to be happy and energetic when you are doing a video, but would i want to start with my tragic backstory (i buried my mom, dad, grandad, brother, and uncle from age 9 to age 12) and tell the viewers what self limiting beliefs i created. I want to show them I could change my mindset after all that tragedy, then anyone can do it
or should i start with what I've learned and down the road tell them that story.
stoogey1 other videos start saying a summary of things they learned and what lessons they want to share then go to the events that caused them to learn those lessions and what they got out of them. then end with a recap of lessions and more detailed explanation of how they came to such conclusions from said events. and there thoughts.
