IDK I have the 3.0 software but I still prefer using Serato Sample as a VST. It's still the best for me. I have stem seperation on Studio One as well but I dont really make beats on there. Enjoyed the vid!
maschine is overall the better daw but we need everything FL has this update didnt help us at all its cool but they late as we need interal visual eqs compresors softclipper built in basically everything fl has we need better piano roll ghost notes scale mode without hardware using laptop keyboard as a piano midi every feature they have we need they have so many features and we only have like 10 peercent of what they got our expansions is what keeps me on maschine .... and the chord mode on my m+
I hear you but with Komplete Ultimate plug-ins and third party VST3's this is definitely on the same level. They aren't as behind. Now the better piano roll with ghost notes would definitely help, but Maschine makes up for it by allowing you to have each pad in the correct key on scale. Chord mode is fire. I'm going to make some music with it this weekend
@AvidanSmith i agree 100 percent but bro complete ultimate is usable in FL too yea it integrates with us effortlessly but and looks prettier but like im speaking in terms of we need a update to the whole DAW we need every function FL has better editing automation internal plug-ins how they have all those plug-ins a better mixer system and also able to record vocals here using UAD console like protools I will never leave maschine but u gotta admit they gotta do better my maschine plus cant even have all my contact libraries on here there's not a soft clipper built in nothing special they need a better sampler time stretching thing like serato sample so we don't have to restretch all that sampling
Looks like you did waayyy more steps in maschine, thats the issue with this release and past releases too many steps and the workflow needs an overhaul. Cant agree with you on this one I know you rid with NI but its overdue to make this easier
@@AvidanSmith yeah I was confused by his original comment. Was he talking the stem processing time? Or the time it took for your idea to come full circle in Maschine like it did in FL?
Sooooo me using FL for 20 years don't count? In terms of workflow, Maschine won in THIS area. I'm specifically talking about stem separation, but you're talking about everything else? Wouldn't that show your bias as well, objectively speaking?
@ yeah Maschine has too many steps for the stem separation and it took longer for a 4 bar loop. When it comes to chopping samples Maschine is the best hands down.
Quantity in steps doesn't mean it something takes longer. In FL, after it processes, everything is still on the playlist, and you're going to spend more time removing that if you want to chop up the sample in Slicer or Slicex. Sure, you can chop on the playlist, but you and I both know that will take more time depending on the style of sample. Whereas in Maschine, your stems are in a new group and it's easy to put all 4 sounds on different groups from there. Now if we were talking about keyboard shortcut hacks, FL smacking Maschine across the room lol. If we are talking options for exporting, piano roll, and MIDI integration? Yeah, FL wins HANDS DOWN.

That's fair tho! Serato is legendary at this point so I don't blame you
Me 2 Serato and even the MPC stems sound better
Exactly. Good post
Machine Gang Gang 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉, 💪!
🔥🔥🔥
The ending though!!! 😂Did he survive?
Bro I was fighting for my LIFE not to sneeze! 😂😂😂
How do you turn the sample into audio when dragging and dropping?
I'll record a Short for you

@@AvidanSmith yes please

I can respect that. For me, truncating feels faster, and getting my drums and the workflow of creating a song feels smoother
The processing time for it is slower but he was quicker doing it in Maschine to get his stems. He should have used his timer to show you.
@jeremythompson6822 Literally thought this after I turned off the recording lol

@jeremythompson6822 More so the overall time I believe
Bro this was so biased clearly ur a maschine fanboy. Maschine has a lot of work when it comes to the Maschine 3.0 hopefully in the next update.
