"जरा हल्के गाड़ी हांको मेरे राम गाड़ी वाले" is lovely Kabir Bhajan that beautifully praises Lord Rama together with hinting on the immortality of men and the difficult life of a Yogi.
It tells us to move the cart along lightly because Lord Ram is riding it. The cart is special and colorful with wheels painted in rosy red color. A lady is holding the reins and adorning her cart is Lord Rama.
Suddenly the cart got mired in mud and the destination was still far away. But here, the Karma came to rescue, the good ones were able to cross the ordeal and evil ones suffered.
Healers of all sought came from every land with their herbs and roots and tried to treat the King but all the medicines were useless because the life has gone out of the body since Rama had left the palace.
Four fellows came to carry the stretcher and they tied up the wooden horse. They carried it to the burning ground
and blew it up, like Holi!
The wife sobbed and wept since her beloved was taken away. Kabir says, listen Sadhus the one who joins is the one who breaks!

Slowly slowly, O mind, everything unfolds
A gardener may water a pot a hundred times,
But, when the season arrives, the fruit grows
Being concentrative on a single task, everything is achieved
Mind wandering numerous tasks at one, everything is loosed
The gardener waters the root and the tree flowers
Slowly, slowly move the cart; my lord is riding inside
Move the cart a little gently; my lord is riding inside
My cart is colourful and its wheels are painted in rose red
A foppish lady holds the reins and my lord sits in the cart
Move the cart a little gently; my lord is riding inside
The cart stuck in a puddle of mud, the destination is still far away
The right doer reaches, the wrongdoer crushed under his deeds
Move the cart a little gently; my lord is riding the cart
Doctors and healers called from faraway lands bought their herbs and medicines
The herbs were useless, when the lord has left this cart
Four people together carried the stretcher and tied it to the wooden horse
They carried it to the crematory and flamed it like the Holika

The wife cries and mourns, my beloved is separated from me!
Says kabir, listen, O seekers, who attaches, breaks

Rajasthan Kabir Yatra is a 7 days-long annual travelling folk music festival spread across six rural and urban locations in and around Rajasthan. Organised by Lokayan, Bikaner and partnered with Rajasthan Police, this is a folk festival providing a space where folk musicians, artists, scholars, students and seekers can immerse themselves in the voices of Bhakti and Sufi saint-poets such as Kabir, Mira, Bulleh Shah, and many more, questioning and dissolving boundaries of caste, class, religion and identity.
The five editions, in 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 were widely chronicled and appreciated. It brought together 50 artists, over 400 Yatris every year from other parts of India, and thousands of local audiences.
