actually there are 11 things to ask your recruiter....the 11th question is: "Are you lying too me about all these wonderful things you are telling me".
Your recruiter can't lie to you. What they can do is not tell you things. But they have to answer truthfully and they don't always give you the whole truth. Don't get screwed by the government. Read your contract before you sign.

I wanted to fly helicopters for the Army, and he said that could be possible if you qualify and sign on the dotted line please- after that, you can end up looking at helicopters flying while peeling potato in the mess hall.

The term contracting is over used. Maybe private military contracting or private security. Too many jobs fall into the term of contracting….
