    one thing that’s helped my anxiety a lot during quarantine is going for walks! getting fresh air and getting out of my space really makes a huge difference

    When I feel the panic attack type feelings coming on I do a grounding technique where I name all the things I can physically touch in that moment. If I am laying down in bed I will tell myself I can feel my bed is soft, etc. That way I am focused on what I know is true and not the anxiety which may not be true.

    Hi Gretchen! You should use the Starbucks app to look at the caffeine content of drinks. The chai syrup is caffeinated and because you got a venti, there are more pumps -> more caffeine. A venti iced chai has 145 mg of caffeine without the extra espresso! Each espresso shot adds about 75 mg of caffeine to your drink. So your drink tops off at ~300 mg! I’d get a single shot or reduce the pumps of chai! You can look on the Starbucks app to see what the standard pumps are and modify it from there. I’ve made this exact mistake with an iced chai before and it was terrible. I’m a barista at Starbucks btw so hope this helps :)

    I definitely feel anxious from drinking too much coffee. Whenever I feel that way, I drink water, eat some food, and chill until I feel better.

    I get super shaky like that when I drink too much coffee and don't have much food in my stomach, it makes me extra anxious I so feel you! Carbs always help me pretty quick :) With normal anxiety, I ground myself, I name things I can hear, things I can feel, and things I can smell. works really well!!

    If you drink too much coffee don’t freak out just let it go, if you freak out it will increase your enzymes more, so be calm and drink water as much as you can bcas caffeine makes you dehydrated as well. Happy coffee day.

    Omg YES caffeine does this to me on occasion. Some tips: 1. Keep track of what phase of your cycle youre in when it happens! 2. Coffee affects me worse than black or green tea or Yerba mate! If I need a boost, I often choose a different option 3. Eat before and after caffeine consumption!!

    I’m also effected heavily by caffeine! A tip that may seem strange, but totally works, is eating an apple!! Every time I feel like I over did it with coffee, apples help!!

    I don't usually get to anxious with caffeine, only if I have a lot!! But I also dont drink starbucks as much, i get more anxious with starbucks coffee because its super strong!

    Gretchen last summer I had a la Colombe cold brew can on a practically empty stomach and got such bad caffeine poisoning that i almost fainted and threw up for an hour!! now I stick to matcha and tea, it was definitely one of the sickest times of my life!

    Anytime I get a huge caffeine rush I chug so much water and it really helps! Also you should def ask for 1/2 caf next time and see if that’s enough

    I'm like Max and can drink sooo much caffeine and then go to bed lol! It's a more of a in my head type of thing where I'm like okay it's time to wake up once I drink coffee haha!

    I couldn’t help but laugh for the first few minutes of this because I have absolutely experienced this quite a few times and I know EXACTLY where your mind was at ahahahaha I always panic and chug water and eat carbs! Once something soaks up the caffeine I’m so much better! ❤️ for anxiety I take long deep breaths and occupy my mind with making a to do list or planning out my day/week!

    You can also get things half decaf at Starbucks :) I just found that out and its sometimes the perfect amount of coffee without making me feel anxious!

    I totally relate to the coffee/ caffeine feeling!! Omg I hate it! I’ve literally had to stop drinking stuff with caffeine in it because the energy isn’t worth the anxiety lol. But when I do slip up I usually eat and drink water exactly what you did!

    Hi!! I’m also very sensitive to caffeine! I take amino acids to help balance out the jitteriness/anxiety from coffee and it’s helped A TON!! Plus lots of water after my cup of coffee 💕

    For the dishwasher: if you don’t want to buy the magnet, when the soap dispenser is closed, it’s dirty. When it’s open, it’s clean. I’ve been doing that since I lived with roommates in college.

    I’m like max with coffee but I do sometimes get like this where I’ll shake a ton and feel weird but I usually wait it out or eat and it doesn’t take too long to feel normal again

    i have a lot of things to think about rn being a junior who needs to save up for college but doesn't have a job yet lmao. but if i drink coffee without eating something, i definitely get shaky and like jittery and my mind can't function. but if i eat something that not like a liquid, i feel better!

    I started getting bad anxiety this year for the first time in my life, I had to cut out caffeine completely because I’d get such bad anxiety. I’m on medicine for it now and still can’t do caffeine so I know how scary this feeling is even if you were laughing it off!
    Glad you felt better so fast! How does orange juice help??

    this happens to me with caffiene sometimes. Especially last year if I drank caffeine in the middle of the day at school I would go home after school and clean everything, my room, my bathroom, everything and I couldn’t do anything until I felt like it was clean enough. It was so weird because I’m pretty sloppy haha. But I felt like the deep cleaning made me feel better!!

    u need to drink much too then like water, juices as coffee dehydrates, some electrolites like magnesium sodium etc in it or water with half spoon of salt on the gallon rehydrates

    you need food and water. After sharing what you order that gives you this feeling, the sugar is probably effecting you more than the caffeine ; you eat particularly healthy from what we can see, so your body is experiencing a sugar high along with a caffeine high

    I believe Max 100 percent knows more about the mystery package than he is telling you. I can tell by how he was quiet, gave short responses, and tried to change the subject. Yes please keep us updated when you do find out.

    I make sure to drink a ton of water and eat! I can only drink half of an iced coffee, if I drink any more i’m shaking 😅

    Eat some food and drink some water before you have any coffee in the morning. It'll help to prevent that anxious, jumpy feeling.

    Im on vyvanse and I "need" coffee every morning (bad habit ik) and I feel the exact same way if I have too much energy so I always have to workout when I feel that way to burn it off! It actually helps put me in a good routine because I have a coffee and then an hour later when I feel anxious like that I have a ton of energy to workout and am calm enough by the end of the workout that I dont feel anxious but I still feel awake so maybe try that next time you feel shaky and stuff!

    I know the exact feeling you had! Thanks for being vulnerable to share it, I know I’d be too paranoid in that state 😂 I switched to decaf and drink a lot of tea. Some of us just aren’t built for caffeine. Your energy would regulate once you gave up but you have have to go through some nasty withdrawals. Caffeine is a drug, no doubt about it.

    that used to happen to me all the time when i drank too much coffee!! after it happened like 3x in a month and i had such severe anxiety from it, I stopped drinking coffee for almost a year. now I never drink more than 1 cup of coffee or 1 espresso shot a day, no exceptions LOL

    When I feel anxious from coffee I try and remind myself that I only feel like this because I had coffee. And that every minute that passes the less I’ll be caffeinated if that makes sense

    i have horrible anxiety and I shake too! What I do to help is use a heating pad and put it on my neck, and just put my phone down and close my eyes. I hope you feel better!❤️

    Eat something with bread or carbs. It’s the same as alcohol you need food to absorbs the caffeine

    im so sensitive to caffeine :((( it makes my anxiety so bad and makes me feel so sick. i love the taste of coffee so i usually just get decaf, or if i get espresso it’s only 1 shot and i make sure to eat some carbssss with it

    I usually don’t drink Coffee on an empty stomach because it makes my stomach hurt (I think it’s because it increases the amount of stomach acid)... I usually drink coffee and eat oatmeal :) Also, and I might be wrong, I think OJ and Coffee is a bad combo since both are acidic drinks idk tho... Btw love your vlogs !!! I’m gonna miss looking forward to Vlogmas 🥺

    If you feel like that beside other things like calling doctor maybe buy a magnesium - I recommend Triple calm magensium from walmart or amazon its also calming and on axiety - brand RHYTHM - it helps on my heart as my heart beat faster like 90 in calm state and it was sometimes irregular- it started after I took some clensing suplement that had strong cleansing properties in it and then my heart started like beating irregular and it flushed magnesium potasium and sodium and other things from my body but shaking I think might be from too much coffeine and not much magnesium in your body.

    I used to drink coffee multiple times a day, when I made it at home it didn’t affect me but outside the house when I’d go to cafes the coffee would make me flip the f out and feel so uncomfortable in my own skin. For some reason I never tried decaf. Then finally I had enough of feeling so panicky from it so I stopped drinking it for a while now I’m only doing decaf!!

    The amount of sugar in that as well...it's a bad combo of caffeine and sugar! No need for that much, regardless of empty of stomach or not. Eat some carbs and reduce the sugar intake on those drinks!

    the first time i had coffee i found out im probably really sensitive to caffeine... i pulled an all nighter before an exam and drank half a coffee before to stay awake and i was literally shaking while taking the test and my heart was beating so fast i felt lightheaded and couldnt think at all lol it was the worst, i havent drank coffee again since

    I get real life panic attacks if I drink coffee, you're totally experiencing anxiety from too much caffeine/sugar combined lol .. it happens. Mines so bad that I can't even drink caffeine, at all.

      Also, I used to drink a load of water to make it go away.. because you'll go pee till its out of your system (lol). I have been diagnosed with anxiety and a panic disorder though so thats also why it affects me so bad ... but I do take medication to that helps tremendously.
