He has suffered a lot and even though it’s a show you shouldn’t be him putting him down because if you were kakashi you wouldn’t say “I’ve been through more” because you understand that losing people is hard to deal with and to even compare the traumatic experiences that it’s murder and death involved it’s just not ok, it’s sickening. Kakashi told sasuke the truth and kakashi knew the truth about the death of the uchiha clan more than he did.
Remember your childhood when you used to watch Naruto on tv and thought Kakashi was so like such a cool guy and even in this scene. Because you didn't knew back then was pain he went through. We didn't knew about Obito and Rin or his dead. We just thought he is cool but now we know how sad this scene actually is.

Kakashi really is the best reacher. He knows Sasuke's pain but gives himself as an example of what kind of person you can still become despite going through that pain.
I mean he wasn’t really the best teacher, yes he saw his old team within team 7 and yes he viewed Sasuke as himself, but it all pretty much fell apart after the chunin exams where Naruto was being trained by Jiraiya Sakura was being trained by Tsunade and Sasuke ran off to train with orochimaru, yes he could empathize with Sasuke but he gave him too much attention and his whole team went their separate ways like his team with obito did
@•SKYORI• which databook and page was it stated Kakashi was the best teacher? Assuming it says that verbatim, “best” could have multiple meanings. It could mean Kakashi is the best at actually teaching, which would be the most likely denotation.
Kakashi trained sasuke to be stronger than pre-shukaku form gaara, when he was previously getting beaten up by training weights, no gates lee. He also taught naruto how to perfect the rasengan by infusing it with a chakra nature, a feat even minato couldn’t do.
It’s very debatable that Kakashi was the best leader, as his team did split apart after the chunin exams, with him. At one point Kakashi wasn’t even the leader of team 7, with Yamato having to step in because of kakashi’s inability to keep Naruto’s Kyubi cloak in check. You could very easily argue Asuma was a much better leader than Kakashi.
You could very easily say hiruzen personally selected Kakashi to lead team 7 as he saw them as similar to kakashi’s old team. Hiruzen could simply have reasoned that Kakashi wouldn’t let history repeat itself if he was the team’s leader. That unfortunately wasn’t the case.
Kakashi had every right to turn evil but he's the guy who knows what truly pain is...

He lost his father, his sensei, and his two best friends, but hope never left him.
Except it did for a while. He was looking at books about how a shinobi should die and dealt with the pain and guilt by being in the darkness of the anbu, doing the village's dirty work and carrying the sadness and guilt, for 10 years. It was only the last 3 years (he tried out 2 teams before them) that he started to come out of the darkness and become a teacher. Like he said, he has found new comrades to help fill the void.
Kakashi is the perfect stoic, and that's a large part of why I love him so much.

Kakashi had the saddest backstory in the whole anime and didn't complain once. Anyone who experienced what he did would've gone evil. And yet he still smiles. What a chad.
Kakashi really loved Sasuke. Their bond is very unique and strong. I remember how Kakashi worried about Sasuke’s curse and tried to cure him by sealing it, he treated him like Sasuke was very special to him. 💔

you people are really arguing about who have rights in being sad? The way i see every pain is hard to handle for those carrying it. For me kakashi history is about someone who had everything, family, talent, love... and lost not only by the war or other people but also by him, that is why he's not like sasuke, he knows that he is not a victim, a good guy. Sasuke in the other hand have someone to blame, sasuke see himself as a victim. I don't blame him tho, problebly i would think that too if my brother showed me the death of my parents for several times.

Remember your childhood when you used to watch Naruto on tv and thought Kakashi was so like such a cool guy and even in this scene. Because you didn't knew back then was pain he went through. We didn't knew about Obito and Rin or his dead. We just thought he is cool but now we know how sad this scene actually is.
