Yup. Unless it’s a ready-to-wear runway show, the things at the big runway events are interest in the designer for celebrities to wear their couture line and for the rest of us plebs to go look at how they translated the runway into ready-to-wear. (I think a LOT of people don’t know this!)
Plus, there was an actress or model, I don't remember who, that wore one of the gowns that had the main gown off set by like a foot showing a beige corset underneath.
Okay but the sideways dresses are actually so ingenious. The one that's only slightly off of the model looks like it's gliching off of them. I really hope that this sort of thing becomes popular in the future (just as long as they're functional)!
I appreciate that even when something isn’t always to your taste you’re very complimentary. A lot of people get kind of nasty towards “alt” designers just because it isn’t to their taste but you still share them and compliment the talent☺️
That mouth coin purse was definitely the creepiest one for me. And yes I totally grew up watching teletubbies! I barely remember what happened during the episodes but I remember all the different colored teletubbies and saying goodbye to the baby sun at the end, and I also remember the vacuum thing that would suck up the spilled chocolate pudding 😆.
Avant Garde/Conceptual runways are really interesting. These kinds of shows with unwearable garments are meant to be seen as Art Exhibitions and are used to get people talking about the brand and looking at the stuff that is for sale.

Viktor and Rolf are from The Netherlands (as am I), and they are realllly big here! Their own perfumes and always these beautiful but weird clothes. They made amazing pieces through the years.
I was a daycare teacher in a toddler classroom when Teletubbies, Barney, and Pokemon all started. Ten years later my son became obsessed with Pokemon, and now my greatnephew loves the Teletubbies. That green one, Dipsy, was in a tie with Tinky Winky for his favorite. I just thank God that Barney didn't stand the test of time! I have Loved Victor&Rolf for decades. They even had a collaboration with H&M which was amazing. They are a dutch design duo and absolutely fabulous.
