- Similar to my current series, but this time I will not apply the “Maximum Overdrive” modifier. And since this is a challenging, I got to beat the game.
Wasn’t actually that hard, but vitamins are required to get from door 88 (which most likely will have a long hallway), then past door 89 (courtyard) to get to door 90.
Also interesting discovery i found while playing the game:
When you crucify Ambush while having Again And Again And Again modifier activated, he will no longer come.
If he spawns naturally tho, well, he will now keep coming for the rest of the game unless you crucify him again.

To be honest, it really bugs me how rush doesnt spawn as often anymore with worst time ever, it was kinda the fun of the modifier that made it more fun

This is probably a bug, but rush hour, really bad time and worst time ever affects a-60 as if it was rush, therefore a-60 also spawns more often. so thats probably why theres less rush

The figure catching you BEHIND THE WALL at door 100 happens because figure is so heavily scripted , like rush ambush and enitites like them have a path , seek too , well since figure can just do what he wants he can do this , and the devs said it would take long to fix this bug.

4:00 you had a problem with dupe and had to have ambush help you, if you stand next to one o f the doors (not opening it) listen for a deep growling sound. If you hear it then its dupe, else it s the normal door
i use a strategy where i smash my head into the wall (in game) next to the dupe door at a slight downwards angle and look for a small black box with a white outline on the bottom, if i find it then its a dupe door (its a bug not a feature and helps with battle of wits modifer as it removes dupe's sounds)

also tip for what happened with dupe at 3:54, sometimes if you smash ur head into the wall at a downwards angle on some devices you can detect which door it is, if the room u see thru the wall has a white outline on the bottom of it then its a dupe door, hope this helps!
edit: the strat for some reason doesnt work if ur holding a flashlight but works with any other item (i havent tested if it works with skelly key or cruccifix yet but i think it works)

Turn sideways near the side of a door with you character at the wall (you know what I mean) and start using your *e a r s*
@@THEAIRBOI-mq5ci some people dont know that and with the modifier Battle Of Wits on it removes dupe's sound, so this strat is very helpful for Hotel Hell, i got hotel hell yesterday and i used the strat to get it
For some reason,rush hour also increases the chances of a-60 and a-120 which is why a-60 and a-120 appear a lot.
So a-60 and a-120 are clones of rush?

so from i learned is that the rooms you progress the more ambush spawns making it spawn double, triple, quadruple & it goes on until door 100 (which could be a bug or just a feature)
Its most likely a bug, because when Ambush naturally spawns, he spawns infinitely. Usually spawns after 1st and the 2nd seek chases.
with again and again and again 4 ambushes spawned at once, how i knew is i heard multiple ambushes and saw 4 separate glows, i think its because i was rushing thru the rooms with MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE really fast

(that reminds me of back then like before the modifiers were released but after hotel+, figure killed me through the wall while i was trying to collect some breaker switches because of another unfair bug)
that's caused by kill hitbox, not a bug. figure's kill hitbox is about 2-3 studs. at the timestamp u put in ur comment, the wall wasn't very thick, also ohbasic and figure was both touching the wall, which leads to the conclusion of figure's kill hitbox just long enough to reach ohbasic and kill him

@@Toma912 at least you actually got chance to get some breaker puzzle pieces, in one hotel+ run (before modifiers) figure killed me in the lever cutscene and i never got chance to run from him

in door 100 if u havent pulled the lever hide can get you, idk why
@@fireblazeblast1229hide is programmed to only disable if figure is active. In SHM, when you kill him, hide will still think figure is active and so, hide will not appear.
At least the entity’s help you open the doors😊

If you enter a room and Dupe spawns and you forget the number of the previous door, go on the side of the door. If you hear a weird sound, that means that this is the wrong door.
You can also crouch and clip your head through the wall. If you see a black box with a metal floor, that door is dupe.

The best way to get either of these badges is to experiment with the stacks of modifiers.
if you want some tips: try using Really Bad Time, it doesnt even spawn entities that much anyway, use roundabout, its basically a free 10% knobs, also use battle of wits and afterimage, dont use out of stuff or im everywhere as you cant heal with out of stuff or get crucifixes
The modifiers i used to get Hotel Hell were:
el goblino on break (5%)
less stuff (5%)
really bad time (20%)
rush hour (10%)
im runnin here (10%)
battle of wits (15%)
nosey (5%)
think fast (5%)
back for seconds (10%)
afterimage (10%)
come back here (5%)
rents due (15%)
roundabout (10%)
key key key key (15%)
tripped and fell (10%)
dont use last few breaths as less stuff has barely any effect anyway and its easy to find bandages, also ALWAYS make sure you have a crucifix in the rift so in door 100 you can take it out if you dont have 1 or u already used your one from jeffs shop. The only annoying thing is the constant ambush but he gets pretty easy to deal with, you just gotta get good item rng and not to get ambush right after halt hallway (yeah that happened once) anyway good luck!

Thanks for subbing! I use Capcut as my main editing app, I simply just record the sound effects myself and then use the extract sound feature in Capcut to add sound effects.
