Miss my Uncle Sam. Wish I had more time to spend with him. Sam and Aunt Diane inspired me at a young age to LOVE music and share it with my children. Still listen to it today.
Wow...I studied with him at Tanglewood back in the early '80s....I would think this video was made not long after that....With a young Sam Pilafian on tuba...sad to hear.

ホールで聴いても音源でも変わらない本当に質の高い方達でした。スメドヴィクさんを筆頭にカーナウさん、ハートマンさん、ピラフィアンさん、あとカナディアンブラスから移籍したホルンの方。すいません名前忘れました。特にハートマンさんには個人レッスンを受けましたが人間的に素晴らしく、夢の様な時間でした！
