I recorded this video during my winter internship training program at wazirpur DTC bus depot, here the buses are come for the regular maintenance work and for repairing work, so that i found that place is good for learning practically, even for beginners also.
And this video is only about to introduction, engine specification, basic air flow with animation, engine maintenance activities etc.

You never know what gem of a video TH-cam will throw in your suggestions. Very nice video. I have a question, Did the engine show any signals like overheating or loss of power because of which the engine was taken down ( and then valve seat + spark plug issue was found) or the engine still performed till it was finally its turn for complete inspection?
Yes there is thermal sensor which sense the overheating of engine and give feedback to driver but there is no any such type of arrangement for power loss or some damaged part..
But here driver report that problem i.e not getting pickup like that, then we found one damaged spark plug.
If any spark plug is damaged then definately there is missing of firing perticular to that cylinder,, and driver automatically comes to know that because of his experience.

Can you guide me as to how i can apply for an industrial training in dtc ?
you can submit training letter issued form your college to the manager or supervisor of any DTC depot.
remember 1 point that they have few seats so try to submit your letter earlier as possible and also not in large groups, otherwise they will reject the whole group.

Actually this green bus is non AC bus, that's why AC compressor is not there.
You will find AC compressor in red buses, these are AC buses.

Sorry bro not sure, but I guess Assistant foreman supervise the maintainance activities in depot, also some documentation work may involve to final check as per the check list given. Role and responsibilities may vary as per the location or depot.
Is it Subhash place depot?
It is Wazirpur depot.
Wazirpur depot is on one side of the flyover and subhash place depot is on other side of the flyover.
