Just think how many yards Ollie Gordon ll would have if Coach would have given him more than 18 carries total in the first 3 games. He would have close to 2000 yrds. Has 1500 basically in 9 games. No excuses for that Coach Gundy.
Absolutely audric did amazing and definitely saved notre dame in a few games their offensive coordinator was absolutely terrible and had zero creativity they used the same plays for every game and they didn’t have any star receivers or tight ends which is kinda shocking when notre dame has been tight end university the last few years defense did amazing all year they made osu’s best receiver in the country look average and showed everyone how to beat osu and Michigan payed attention and did exactly that the only reason osu didn’t loose two games was because of notre dame’s coaching they had a first time head coach and it was his 2nd season they had a new offensive coordinator as well which is why they lost simple mistakes….not running and burning osu’s timeouts their last drive…going for it on 4th and 1 when they had an easy field goal and again on the 40 yard line which osu kicked a field goal from…going into prevent the win defense when they were shutting osu down…and not having all their players on the field the last two plays of the game😂 the players didn’t loose that game the coaches did smh who goes for it on 4th down and has the quarterback run when you have the best running back in the country
Estime wasn’t even a semi finalist for the doak walker award. That’s an embarrassment and proof postseason awards are just shams. Thank you for recognizing one of the top backs in the country!
Good call mentioning Lloyd. Been a Huge find for SC - a power back with Moves. A fighter, a gamer, a Baller. Speed. Hands. Slipperiness combined with a fierce refusal to go down. NFL-ready skills.
Been a while since Notre Dame has had a truly great RB. They've had some good ones the last few years, but it's all been behind great O-lines whereas this year they're mediocre and he's still crushing it.
Estime is part of a 5-headed monster stable of RBs at ND though. DeLand McCullough is a RB's coach who likes to feature multiple backs or Estime might have a 300 yard game or 2 as well. Check his rushing average and his highlight reel? Big Dric is insane bro.
Only 2 of them are legit because only 2 of them have played a decent defense and they didn't do much when they did.. McClellan (AL), Judkins (Ole Miss), Penn State's RB and your top 2 from Texas (Brooks) & ND (Estime) would be my list
@@DERodgers that's way different considering there are way more RBs that have been better than Judkins this year than QBs that have been better than Burrow. Not to mention pre 2023 Burrow has a way better track record than pre 2023 Judkins 😭🫵🏿
Blake Correm is a 2 yard TD merchant and runs behind a line wayyyyy better then what Cody Scraeder has at mizzou who led the SEC in yards without playing a cupcake schedule for 90% of the year. Switch Blake and Cody’s teams and I think you’d find out very quick who was the better back this season
Off topic but I believe if ND is ever gonna realistically challenge for a Natty they gotta move to the Big10 or start scheduling better competition than they have in their almost Acc schedule
If they start giving Blake Corum 30 carry’s a game like last year he would have so many more yards and once Michigan starts pulling lineman it’s gonna be lit🔥
26 carries 145 yards 2 tds against the number 1 rush defense in the nation in Happy Valley. If this was Michigan from last two years he’d be well over 1000 yards right now. But it’s mostly been a JJ year.
@@steven8955agreed. He’s the type of Back that will take it to the house a couple games here and there, then the next game or so he really does nothing. Or you can find him on the sideline injured. He’s not all what Buckeye fans expected him to be.
@@brandonleonard3347I mean after that first year of the absolute clinic he was putting on, I totally expected him to be a force to be reckoned with but just can’t stay healthy man. Same with miyan. Dudes an incredible back for us but can’t stay healthy.
@@brandonleonard3347 entirely. I’m not saying he ain’t necessarily good but at times he has proven in-affective. 2.5 against Notre dame without his 50-60 yd to run. I think a lot of the other backs need to be looked at more like how they competed the qbs to start the season
Shout out to Ollie Gordon from Oklahoma State.
The Big 12 never gets love from him sadly.
Tahj Brooks as well.
Read My mind
yes he's so good but they get more love cuz they at a big name school

Gordon only got really rolling after game 6. This was done early in the year.
Irish!☘️ I really didn’t think you’d have Audric at #1. I’m biased but I totally agree 😅
Same
This genuinely aged well. Audric crushed some ND records and is the sole reason for a couple wins when coordinator and Hartman had severely off games.
And Blake corum just tied the Michigan all time record for tds in his career! Really a pretty good list

Cody scraeder, tahj brooks, and ollie Gordon are all top 5 to me. The big 12 actually had a lot of good running backs this season
Cant have this conversation without Cody Schaders name

It's a shame USC doesn't feature him more. He's outstanding. Would really take a lot of pressure off of Caleb if they just ran it more.
I like Lloyd a ton and I'm a Notre Dame fan.. definitely needs to be featured more. 🤦🏼♂️
Ollie Gordon, - 600 yards last 3 weeks 🤷
A 100% Treyveon Henderson is certainly top 5. And he's looked to be 100% the last couple weeks.
Definitely
I’m a Michigan fan I believe Travion Henderson when healthy is top 5
@@anwarwilliams7365learn how to spell
😊 thankfully he finally faced a decent run defense……
A Buckeye fan thinks Henderson is top five but a national analyst doesn't think so. Huh, interesting
Onward Notre Dame
Judkins has 16 tubs Ang over stack

The fact no one’s even thinking about Cody shrader is mad.300 yards.one game.let’s get real,he’s number one.

Was right about Blake’s jump cut
Man seeing the jump cut difference between then and against Alabama is vastly different
Ashton jeanty needs to be in this conversation.
Ollie Gordon is number 1
Joel Spot on for Blake that monster jump cut vs Alabama in OT for a 17 yard TD
Estime isn't a running back...
HE'S A BATTERING RAM!!
How do you not have Ollie Gordon on here and I’m a sooner fan
Jalen Wright, Tennessee. Over 1000 yds in a 3 back squad.
ESTIME one of the most underuse great players Ever
Traveon Henderson is BACK and he's running fast and angry
Any list that doesn't include number 7 from Missouri is bs. That dude is a baller.
Dillon Johnson is underrated. He put up around the same numbers as Bucky in the near same amount of carries
He had 30 more carries for 100 more yards
Ray Davis putting up comparable numbers with the worst offense and o-line in the group
Gotta have Ollie on there had 2 straight games with over 270 yards and 6 TDS in those games alone plus 130 against OU while battling through injury
Props for giving a Notre Dame player his flowers. 💪🏼😎
Sleeping on Cody Schrader
He's better than all of them. Look at the numbers he put up against the teams he played.
Joel Klatt is a clown and has been sleeping on the tigers all year
Man I hate Brooks had that injury. Sad to see his season end like that especially with Texas finally making the CFP. Hope he gets well soon.
Ollie Gordon II says hi. He doesn't even have good run block o-line to run behind, but he's okay with that. OG II makes his own holes.

Did you forget about the kid from Missouri???
1. Audric Estime
2. Damien Martinez
3. Jaydn Ott
4. Quinshon Judkins
5. TreVeyon Henderson (if he's ever 100%)
I got nothing but love for you brother but, you gotta put Blake Corum in there keep it 💯 with me Playa!
Yeah Blake Corum could have won the Heisman last year if he didn’t get injured, so I feel like he needs to be on the list somewhere
Judkins has been terrible this year😭😭😭😭
@@kizitokatende412 so has Joe Burrow... Is he not good now?

Irish Flex
Oregon state running back martinez is no joke and im a UW fan
I'm biased, but I feel like Tajh Brooks and Ollie Gordon should be in there..
Good. I hope the pro scouts like your list. I really want T. Henderson to come back to Ohio State next year!
The blake comment aged well….
I dont think that jaylen wright is top 5 but tennessee is going crazy w their 3 rb scheme. Before bama they were averaging 200+ yards a game
I think that Phill Mafah from Clemson could make it in the top 5 next season if he stays for another year
I’m a notre dame fan
Ashton Jeanty might surprise some folks next season at Boise State
Not putting daijun Edwards in is crazy
Corum and Edwards haven't been as good this season without Olu and Hayes who were really good on that offensive line.
People sleep on UGA’s Daijun Edwards
the return of the big backs.
Jayden Daniels is the best running back
Judkins is top 5
What about treyveon Henderson 🩶❤️🩶❤️🩶❤️

Dude LOVES Big 10 and PAC 12
RJ HARVEY check out his stats on the year.
Trey benson so underrated
For a second I was gonna get irritated and question why he isn’t on the list until…surprisingly you guys actually threw him at 1
Off topic but I believe if ND is ever gonna realistically challenge for a Natty they gotta move to the Big10 or start scheduling better competition than they have in their almost Acc schedule
Gordon kid from Okie State is #1. You missed big time on this Joel.
That’s what i was saying. Dude literally killing everyone in yds but don’t make the list. Crazy
😂😂😂 Cry harder?
Blake Corum is a Beast to be 5'8 and run ova you and will break away speed
I was about to say you don’t even have Estime in your top 5! Then, oh yea, he’s the best RB in the best RB in America
Damien Martinez needs to be up here.
No Treveon Henderson🤷🏽♂️he’s number 1 in my book
Quinshon Judkins is top 5
I'm not a Georgia fan but u can't overlook the rb from Georgia
Which one? Lmao

Ashton Jeanty or George Holani deserves to be there
Damian Martinez and Deshawn Fenwick are both top 10.
Devin Neal, Ray Davis, Jaylen Wright, and Damien Martinez all could’ve been at 5. Idk how much of a difference Lloyd makes compared to those guys
Blake hasn’t looked great this year like he did last year. Not sure if it’s the o line or him being beat up.
Jarquez Hunter will be the best rb next year

Omarion Hampton UNC
