I will say I used to feel this way about burnout and balance until I became too disabled to work for over a year. It made me realize that even work you love takes a physical & mental toll and needs to be balanced with rest and wellness. And that can actually make things more stressful and burnout happen more easily when things are hard, because you care so much. Disabled people don't get a choice about balance, the consequences of leaning too much into work can have lifelong consequences - my health has changed forever because of how much I worked.

Another brilliant episode. I loved the discussion about the competing interests of work/life, time/money, and how each affects and informs our self-identity. One of my favorite podcasts each week. Keep rockin' on!

I loved this! Nora Ali might find the book Traction by Gino Wickman a powerful read with some great advice about hiring integrators so that creative company leads an do work that really matters for their business.
