Wow it has a solid clean but different sound I like a lot . I’m a professional photographer/videographer. I see this guitars sound like an extremely good camera lens. One with not too many glass elements but optically good . There is head room to work with in post production. Odd Analogy to some maybe.
I watched your other video on these two guitars where you had tuning issues and had to install roller bridges to overcome the issue. The guitars that are in production do not appear to have roller bridges so did Gretsch resolve the issue in another way?
Nigel said the strings (and bridge?) on his penguin aren't as high off the body as standard penguins. Can you confirm this? Also does that mean theres less neck angle? Typically theres some neck angle on the neck attaching to the body because of the height of the carved body and lifted bridge and strings...does that mean the Hendroff model has less angle?

Played one recently they feel great to play but I don’t like the pickups. Cool guitar lost me at how those pickups sound unfortunately especially for the $$

Yup! Think of it like a les paul/duesenberg.
Just got mine a few hours ago... Don't like the stock strings (are they 10-46, really??), all the rest seems great
