    I learned how to make that when I was studying fashion design in college. It's not nearly as painstaking as they make it seem and she did way more steps than are actually necessary. Also none of the extra steps she did make any difference in the final product which, I will agree, is really ugly and not something I would ever wear let alone pay money for.

      Taylor Romano which where unnecessary? Heat water and agitation are required. But I guess the silk and glitter for some.

      Why insult someone who is kind enough to share their process? Maybe watch the movie Ratatouille-- critics risk nothing, many people find mean criticism entertaining, but it's the people who have the courage to create things and to put them out in the world that really matter.

    • @KassMcCormack
      @KassMcCormack 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@a.k.7424 The whole point of the video is to show people how to do a craft. Except they're doing it in a way that is far more complicated than it needs to be and actually negatively impacts the final product. I'm pointing that out. I would rather someone read my comment and save their time (and confusion) than watch this, get confused, and give up doing something they could've loved.

    The end result is really good looking, however i really missed that she didn't throw the piece, if you're wondering throwing it causes it to shrink a little from the force and it makes the felted piece stronger, also it's gun to bunch it up and throw it at full force at the table lol

    • @Padraigp
      @Padraigp 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You dont full nuno felt that way. You vwry gentle let it fall on its edge and then pull it flat then let it fall on its edges gently again. If youre making full felt yes you throw at force but ypu dont do that with nuno. It would cause it to full too much.

    Unlike many of the negative commenters here who all have snide opinions and more than likely gather their knowledge of textiles from dancing influencers on IG and Tik Tok, I think the piece this woman created by hand is a beautiful piece of wearable art. It is one-of-a kind in a world of copy-cat look-alikes. This is just one demonstration of how and what can be done with nuno felting or any wool felting for that matter. People that prefer natural fibers like wool and silk over man-made synthetic will appreciate this.

    How It's Made really has scraped the bottom of the barrel to show this on the show.
    Dryer Lint the next level. Go figure.
