  • Video Recorded on May 20, 2024: First video in Fort Worth after I haven’t been back here for like 13 years! Can’t think of a perfect way to start it off with an amazing although tastefully modernized elevator in an old historic hotel. I absolutely love the exterior hoist doors on each floor. The call stations are also very historically themed too. In case you wonder, I did not film too many in downtown, but found a good amount of gems in the city as a whole. Downtown what’s the only place we hung out at as time was short, but still had fun. Not only would you expect more contents in Fort Worth, but also Dallas as well. In other words, expect more contents here in the DFW metroplex! Installed in 1958, tastefully replaced in 2001.

Super beautiful with original call stations and EPCO WNR buttons.

I never ridden in a Baxter & Sons elevator in my elevator career.

Jason and I found out one car is gearless traction and one is geared. These we’re also not installed in the 50s more like 20s

Well I’m just not sure why the states elevator records specifically mentioned these were installed in 1958. Makes me wonder if one elevator car was replaced in the 50’s or something.

This Baxter and Sons modernization in this case is technically a Northern distributor.
