Too many analysts are getting seduced by Dallas Turner's wingspan and everyone seems to rate him above Latu and Verse recently. To me, Verse is edge 1 because of the power and his competitiveness jumps off the tape, Latu is 2 because he already has an advanced bag of hand techniques and has great instincts. You said around 6:55 that Latu has long arms which is just not true he is bottom 25 percentile in terms of arm length but still wins against tackles despite his shorter arms.
I want Chicago to take one of the top two Edge rushers with their 2nd top pick so badly. Put one of these powerhouses opposite Sweat and their top 10 defense becomes devastating.
FSU fan here. Watched the games. His motor is unreal. When he gets there and misses, dude is back up and chasing. When he played at Albany, he nearly chased down Sean Tucker, who has 4 4 speed, 50 yards downfield. Tucker had a five yard heard start

Players go back to school all the time plus with NIL and his coach sold him on an undefeated season and a birth to the CFP. They went undefeated and Verse was dominant down the stretch when the offense lost their QB. So, it's not about if he's that good.
Just watch his highlights. He jumps off the line like a track guy put of the blocks. As they said, just explosive. He is already 1 step ahead of the tackle, and he doesn't know the play or the snap count
