Hi Digger…… Thanks for dropping in. I’m finding that Improving the couplings, especially on older stock, to be very satisfying. It improves performance and ease of use. I’ve also found that in certain cases the odd troublesome wagon or coach suddenly become we’ll behaved 🤣👍 As well as Hunt couplings variants I also like the versions from GLR Bespoke Services. I recently picked up another design of coupling on eBay from a seller called ‘adrianmole’. I haven’t used them yet, but they look very promising. The different types/makes gives me plenty of options to modify all styles of older couplings, even HO kit. Regards…. Steve 👍

GLR Bespoke Services versions are quite good also. They are all slightly different but the variety comes in handy for different types of modifications. Enjoyed your presentation. Great fan of Chris Hunt couplings. All my locos, over three hundred and rolling stock have his units. Trying to obtain all the HST liveries, I have started to purchase old Hornby Ringfield motor HSTs which come with 'D' couplings. I like what you did and can you tell me which pivot couplings you ordered so I can obtain same? It is my intention to convert the three sets of HST to DCC after replacing the Ringfield motors.
