Hello Amit, do you've example where apex invocable class accept List as both input and output?

I do have multiple examples but the very common one is accepting the list of sobjects or list of string inside Salesforce Apex method

Why we shd pass only as a list to invocable method...is there any reson

Because this is how Salesforce has designed the same. Not much information is available there in the documents
