HD/60fps is still processing.
Please note this was literally my first match in the game (after doing a bit of training) so dont expect any PRO like gameplay, also this is my first Pro Evo game since Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on the PS2 :-O

Pros:
It's main funtion is as a gaming machine, not an entertianment system.
Slightly better hardware inside than it's competition. This has produced regular 1080p resolution on most games. Although the actual graphical differance between it and the other system is not as visiable yet.
It has more Arcade games available than the other system.
PS plus membership gives you free arcade games
Touchpad controls work quite well in most games
The world would be a better place if both FIFA and PES would team up to combine FIFA's wonderful graphics, licences, and PES mechanics to make a better football game.

My God, the graphics during gameplay looks like we're watching a Sega Genesis console. The grass doesn't look realistic at all and the crowd looks painted on. The game developers couldn't be calling this a next gen title.

I say, the graphics in this look better than fifa's this year. You say, but fifa won an award. Like that means something? Pro evo was only released 6 days ago so couldnt be counted in this amazingly magical award that Fifa got. And all I was saying was, what do awards have to do with liking something? So if 7 people think the award should go to one game, that in turn means I can't like something else?

In all honesty, as a FIFA fan, the gameplay on PES has been better since 2012. Although it did feel slower then, it has improved a lot. The realism to the movements, shots, goalkeepers, and everything else is amazing. Now people do debate on the graphics between PES and FIFA, but in my opinion, FIFA has by far the better graphics. HOWEVER, in PES, certain players like Ronaldo, Messi, Van Persie are very accurate, but the lesser known players like Valencia and Clichy are distorted. People have to realize that EA has more resources to recreate more accurate faces for a more VARIETY of players. We definitely see that this year, as they took the whole BPL and scanned most players faces. The flaw that FIFA has is that they only focus on graphics and petty things like "Pitch Deterioration". Now, I am a very picky person, and little things like that make me happy, however it gets annoying when that is all they focus on instead of game physics and player movements. It is refreshing playing PES every so often to experience a somewhat simulated version of real life, instead of the glossy arcade fun feeling FIFA delivers. Overall, if PES had the licenses and resources, it would no doubt(for me anyway) be the best football game to date.

Ive absolutely thrashed the demo to death. Cant wait to get my hands on the full game when released tommorow night.
How do you compare the demo to the final code of the game. I think it feels worse? Input can be laggy.but I thought the demo was very good couldn't wait for the game. Now I struggle to like it

imagine if FIFA 15 had the license to use UEFA trophies and graphic, it would be such a good game
what would be great in pes (at least on the pc version) is a mod that makes defending available to the player too , not only for AI ... hopefully in pes 2016 they introduce a special innovative feature that lets the player to recover the ball in ways that are not interceptions or goal kicks
What skill level were you playing at? I find Man U to be unrealistically too good on here, especially Rooney. All round, I think pes is very good this year.

problem is that PES pays for good mechanics and graphics.They do not care about buying license for teams.On the other hand,FIFA pays for license and a little money they place on graphics.My uncle told me this because he has worked in both EA sports and KONAMI
why when i start a match i do not see the introduce of the game i do not see the players come in to stadium. my console is xbox 360 jtag
I used to love Pro Evo on the PS1&2. The first release on PS3 was such an abomination of a game I haven't played it since. Can anyone say if it's back to its glory days? The graphics look pretty poor, but if the playability is back I don't care too much about that.
Lol you are exactly like me. Iv'e played pes games since ISS pro evolution 1 on the playstation 1. And give up on it when I got my PS3 and tried out the first couple of attempts. But I can honestly say they are back to their utmost best with this one. They have pulled out all the stops. And also this game has ruined Fifa for me since I tried to play fifa 15 again after playing this all day yesterday and it's just so unrealistic now. Sure they don't have licenses for everything but that never bothered me as I loved spending many weekends as a kid in a dark room with a tonne of junk food and coca cola stuck in edit mode having a blast lol. But yeah I can wholeheartedly say that if you buy this you will come back here and say, 'thanks dude, you were right'. The best positive in this game is that they have went back to Pes games of old were the players are not sluggish anymore and they all feel different to play with. Hope this helps.
Crazycupmuffin I'll have to check it out then. I'm not even a football fan, but ISS/pro evo master league was ridiculously addictive. It had that "just one more match" factor that kept me playing into the small hours many times lol. Cheers dude.
Despott No probs check out the demo. Also the master league now let's you change teams when you get job offers. And you can also coach international teams while still managing your club team. It's very hard to stop playing. :)

The graphics are great in this game little bit better than Fifa but the crowd though not really impressive.
Sorry but you can at least try a higher difficult. I can see that you are not a very good player but still mate the AI here looks pathetic and that's not the case in this game at all.

Gameplay this year is back to it's best! What are you on! You obviously haven't played it, I would say best since the good old ps2 days. And this vid makes it look shit cos the guy is only a beginner and playing dummy level difficulty making the AI look like complete shit. Which it ain't. Never judge a book by it's cover or you just might miss out. Also this is coming from a guy who has been playing Fifa flat out for the last 4 years.

I disagree Have loved fifa 13, 14 and the new 15. But after getting this yesterday I couldn't go back to Fifa. Gameplay is everything for me. And i'm sick of hitting that f'ing through ball button lol. Especially online, fifa has just become 'Fifa Through Ball Soccer'.

Fifa movement is like a robot and there is no real movement of players. everything seemed the same. those who play and watch football will know the difference

I'm a FIFA fan, but i like PES to, i played it on PS2 before(when PES was better then FIFA), then i started play FIFA 11 ,12,13,14 on PC (wich was amazing games) now i dont have good enough PC to run FIFA 15 :( ..so i play PES 2015....... the only shit in PES is fucking commentator OMG konami change that noob commentator already and the game will be 100 times better! (and that low textures on pitch & jerseys)..... for now FIFA is still better, waaay better.

no es por nada, pero a mi me parece que pes es un juego barato que trata de imitar a fifa, solo miren los jugadores, ni parecen reales, nose pero a mi parecer cuando juego fifa pareciera un partido real, y el menu de pes no tiene dinamica, iluminacion, es muy sencillo, en cambio fifa se ve entretenido, tecnologico, y se ven los hinchas en el estadio, se ve los jugadores reales, entusiasmados, uno tiene que buscar la pelota en cambio pes me parece un juego malo en comparacion con fifa, y sobre todo ES MI OPINION

Is it just me, or are penalties the absolute worse to take??? Does anyone have any advise as to how to improve on them? It's to the point that when I play my friend, he intentionally fouls me in the box then laughs, cause he knows I'll miss.
