You’re right, there definitely is something about 日常生活 in Japan that’s hard to replicate in Sweden. There’s just this feeling of endless possibilities and discoveries, however small or big, that made me feel excited to wake up there every single day.
Sweden's greatest export since IKEA
It's very funny how you describe Japan and Sweden being so different when from my experience Japan is just sort of a tropical version of Sweden :-D Sweden has recently became more relaxed which comes with some flaws but that's it. Anyway, two countries mentioned are my favorites worldwide. And one more thing, Japan is so f*cking dark in summer!
Well, you better get busy filming the B-roll for the next 10 things video! 😅 As of right now you have 50 likes! 🎉🥳 It's so funny that you talk about nostalgia and child like wonder, even though you haven't been there long. I feel the same way, but I've never been to Nippon. 😅 It's been a dream of mine for most of my life and I really hope I will get to see and tour it one day. 😌 Once I get full use of my legs again, and I'm not stuck in a wheelchair anymore, I really want to come there. And I know...I just said come there, 😅 but I seriously wouldn't mind both of the connotations. 🫰🏻
You, PewDiePie, and Anton In Japan would be too much Swedish-guy-in-Japan power, it would overwhelm any recording devices
What a great video Julian! Agreed on all of these points. Especially the cute little mascots everywhere!
That was fun! As a Brit living here for many years, Japan can still surprise me.
Are you living on the Tobu Tojo line....?
Thanks Fish for another informative and amusing video.
I had no particular interest in Japan or Japanese things but when I moved there, I also felt that strange ambient nostalgia. In a way, Japan is the closest you can get on earth to an 'opposite' of Western/northern latitude material civilization, i.e. where humans with a similar level of technology are approaching modern life. I assume our ancient ancestors got that feeling just crossing a few valleys over in the Pleistocene, but now we barely get that feeling at all, since information is everywhere.
I very much miss the food from Japan. Even the quality of groceries is so much better than what I was used to growing up.
great video, so fun to listen to you!
I agree with all of these points and now I miss Japan so much I want to throw myself against a wall. Great video! 🌟
Thanks for a great episode.
My Fİsh lord Slappee has arrived with his golden wings. Hail.
Love your humour, it's slick 🧠🧠🧠🧠
Japan sounds quite the place for me (except for the busy streets) but I just moved to Sweden from the Netherlands. Can't drag my family to Japan again... oh well... Maybe your 10 things not to like video will make me rethink it. 🧡
YOU are wonderful! And fun. Video is at 19 liked, 28 minutes in.
My favourite thing about Japan 🇯🇵 is you of course 😊❤

4:40 No. I don't know what you mean.
What time of the year is the best time to visit Japan 🇯🇵?
Not July/August! Summers are disgusting here. I'd say November is great :D Or spring if you want to do what the rest of the world does.

Reason number 10, or the edited one needs to be examined more thoroughly 🤔 Or it should have its own video.
