OK, the view won us over right off the bat. Wow.
We usually Amtrak it when we're on the West Coast - at least we did last time. (Trying to avoid paying Cali gas prices.) So it might be a challenge to get to Solvang, but that place looks ridiculous. Like the pancakes.
We have real similar types of towns with German and Scandinavian backgrounds back in our home state of Wisconsin. But the weather is NOWHERE NEAR as good...LOL.
There SHOULD be lines at Danish bakeries. So good. And/or they should set up more outdoor patio space!
That mission, too...wow. And yes, the views again!

I love communities like this. It reminds me of Holland Michigan. The architecture alone is incredible. Looks like a busy town thank goodness. I'm sure they rely on tourism for the majority of their income. So many of these incredible towns declined when covid took there tourism dollar away. Awesome video.
