Great detailed comparison between previous and new - fantastic. I liked the line up of the generations. You asked us which one we preferred: the original 1963-1968 911, typically a 1968 911S. Interesting details of "911 changes discussion" - Braun shaver included! Liked the German for duck-tailed spoiler. Driving part, driving and commentary excellent as always. I'll never understand the hate/dislikes for Thomas' videos. He works so damn hard, is knowledgable and seems like such a genuine and nice guy. Thomas, if ever you come to South Africa or I run into you at an international car launch, beer is on me!

It’s a cultural thing, very, very Germanic, but he also lacks basic knowledge. He had no clue the names for each rim option. Knowing everything available for configuration should be a minimum for his job. Also the PDCC makes a high % of drivers sick with unnatural body roll but he never mentions it?

The point about the interior being "wrapped tightly" that Thomas makes, especially when he is discussing Porsches, is very insightful. It essentially means that Porsche operates under tighter degrees of error in fitment. When the interior is "wrapped loosely", it makes it a great deal easier to hide poor fitment behind overlapping join lines.
Been a subscriber for a while now and always loved the reviews you do Thomas. But the editing on the open sequence certainly stepped up a gear. Stunning 😍

As always a fantastic review! Thank you very much Thomas. Love the design details on the new 911. Porsche did a great job on the evolution of the car. Interesting design fact by the way, that really shows the lovely details on the car - the two upper small brake lights represent an 11. If you count the black slats from the left or right, they always add up to a 9. This shows real love for the design.:)

Thanks for showing all the models through the ages. First time I've seen them all lined up together like that. All the way through your review I thought I preferred the 991 but seeing them all lined up made me realise I actually like some of the retro features like the bonnet on the 992. When lined up against its predecessors especially the 991 the 992 just looks a crisper more aggressive design. Helped make my mind up about my next Porsche.

Great update to a legendary car .Love the style ,fantastic interior .Some people hate the gear shifter but I like it.I love the mix of digital and old school anologue dials. This thing will become a hit for Porsche for sure .Great review Thomas !

Finally checked this review after ordering and driving my 992 Carrera S (2021 model). Absolutely correct from the driver's perspective. I am deciding to switch to the 718 GT4 or GT4 RS now. Great review!

I love your Porsche reviews Thomas! You do this better than all others combined. A few weeks ago I just got a beautiful Carrera 911 4S loaded with options even though this new 911 2020 will start coming to America in August. I like many things on 2020 911, but my heart is still with its predecessor, the current 911.
