After I've seen the insides of the drone, all the more that I appreciated the engineers for their design of the Mini 3 Pro.

Excellent video, I as taking note of the conformal coating on the ESC and silicone over the solder, this is the forward board that will be hit by rain as it moves when there is rain, good to know the main board is above and while I noticed a little coating it is good to know the water will simply not get up there, all in all I now feel confident that rain will not stop this drone just like the Air 2S which I have taken apart and discovered almost every part of the boards are covered in conformal coating which make these drones pretty good at being water resistant. I have flown in heavy rain the Air 2S around 3km without issue, I would say looking at this drone it would be identical. Thanks again and you saved me so much time in pulling it apart and even though I am an electrical engineer it still isn’t something I would like to do on this tiny drone.

A masterpiece of miniaturisation and weight saving design. Very clever people at DJI obviously.

Especially since the range is less than the mini 2. Maybe they can make an antenna mod video.

Got the Mini 3 Pro myself, very interesting video, would end up with more screws than I started with, its certainly a big step up from the Mini 2 and enjoying it Thanks @geeksvana for sharing

My question exactly! How did DJI fit all these parts into the Mini 3 Pro and still made it weigh only 240+ g. Very impressive indeed!

Amazing video, love these types, just a quick question with the rc remotes I have got 2. Now if I took apart the one is there a way to solder or remove and extend the antennas away from the remote? I want to try get more range. Mini 4k i had the mini 2 but lost it lol

Oh, it is not a single board, there is a square chip like set of pins and connectors that joins another board to the main board, I have photos ;)

The FCC version has far better range using those antennas, it may be they are far less efficient when using European permissible output power…🤔

I use a phantom 4 pro and it doesn,t do 10 bit video. Its 60fps mode is ugly due to h264 and a 100 mbps data rate. Obviously being able to stop the larger camera is a big advantage but there are tangible NEW features here. I,m likely to get one just to give me sub 250g flexibility but look forward to comparing image quality with my phantom 4 pro. Thanks for the vid
