Depending on where you are in such a vessel, rooms adjacent could be ablaze while "human error" causes you to surrender your room fully to the sea as it was also engulfed perhaps partially. You would be in a sense boiled alive, like a lobster...
Oddly enough, the thing that got me was the fact that it was able to pull the cruise ship under in the first place. Ships like those have a LOT of buoyancy when there's been no time for the air inside to be replaced with water. Even with unlimited strength on the part of the serpent, trying to pull it under from the middle like that should have snapped the ship like a twig; with the two halves remaining on the surface for at least a short time afterwards.
Thank you. That was more terrifying to me then the big snake....sure i know I'm.dead already but the water physics being broke? Nothing's coming back from that
@@KepeskUrthalre-h6r it is more the case that each story from the Norse myth cycle varies wildly when it comes to the scale of the giants, monsters, gods and places. He knew his death was imminent and most assuredly horrific. He was praying to any God's/God that will listen that the Jörmungandr doesn't devour his soul.
That is really gorgeous, there's one thing that kinda broke my immersion (pun intended). When the jörmungandr rears its head, only some water cascades off its head for a couple seconds, and stops quickly. I suggest next time, you have the monster move slower to suggest size and have the dripping effect last longer. Hauntingly beautiful, those huge sharp teeth are particularly scary to see. Normally I think sharp teeth are cute but I don't think I'd appreciate having those spears close by.
this. absolutely. there should be a LOT more water dripping off the creature, it shouldn't just "stop" abruptly like that. really kind of jarring in terms of realism. it should continue dripping throughout the entire piece, gradually waning but never really ceasing entirely.
@ I thought the explosions were caused by short-circuits. but good reminder, because one other awkward thing (to me) was that the first was instant. they should've maybe started happening a second or two later.

@YeahTheDuckweed I'm pretty sure it would end with Norris sitting, watching Netflix with Jormungandr in a tank behind him as his pet. Knowing his place.
I was like, "Jörmungandr is so beautiful!" and then got terrified when the ship started getting pulled into the ocean. That was the scariest part! Great animation!
Yeah, i find these could pretty cool and just make me imagine how terrifying in it be a if it were real and these things could zip up to you under water are eat you with any humans not being able to do anything about it
I *REALLY* like how the serpent acts and what that implies about what's happening. In most cases you can convince a predator to not kill you since you're not worth the effort, however the way the snake acts here implies this isn't a predatory encounter, it's a territorial one therefore unless these ships are fast enough to get out of the snake's territory they'll be attacked. There isn't really anything you can do here except pray that the snake understands you're just passing through.

The speed in which that gigantic cruise liner was submerged has me panicking from my bed. There NO way anybody had time to blink or register what was happening. Just ... gone.
One minute you’re playing shuffleboard and sipping a pink wine (on the rocks), and the next minute your ship is falling into a physically impossible hole in the water! What a way to go…
It's just a baby Jörmungandr
Yep this is my favorite so far
Great scary stuff MR.FRIEND

Falak ular vs cthulhu vs el gran Maja

By the way the ship it dragged down probably would just break as the thing touched it instead of actually being dragged down.

Amazing absolutely perfect good friend

As someone who’s been on a cruise. Good one! Hahaha
🤣🤣🤣 Perfect timing 👍👍
On the bright side, those fires were put out pretty quickly!
ahahahahhhaha lara croft!!!!
Muster drills were a waste of time, though, weren’t they.

I was honestly distracted by the impossible "hole in the water" bit more than the sea serpent.
Physics be dammed
My guess is it's either a portal to elsewhere or it's a rendition of a maelstrom, although if it was a maelstrom it would've been swirling.

The "lore-accurate" World Serpent is said to encircle the entire planet, and that he causes huge weather events when he stirs in his sleep.
